In response to these tabs:

What do they mean? I tried to play it on the ol' keyboard yesterday, and I
had no idea what the 12's and 9's and things meant. Of course, I no nothing
about music except how to read it, so I can't play it even fast enough to
recognize how it should go! :)

I was just looking at the discography at ftp.uwp.edu and though these
have probably been noticed by someone in the group, I'll bring them up since
they are not listed.

        Skyway of Nightmares 1CD
        Consciously Unreal 2CD
        The Dance of Eternity 2CD

I saw these on an ordering list and am considering buying one. If anyone
has any input on these I'd appreciate it, rough spending $42 for a double
not knowing the recording quality of the CD.

James was having fun in Maryland when I saw him at Pier Six Pavillion.
The concert occurred during a hail and lightning storm and they band was
delayed in starting due to blowouts on one of the lighting boards. It was
still a great concert. If James was that short tempered he would had been
flipping out at this show.

Well, who said it? I just want to be accurate when I note it in

Someone explained this earlier...
One thing more that should go into the FAQ, likely.

It had something to do with a symbol for some royal house,
or some such, if I recalll right.

This goes out to Bradbury: I've never heard skyway of nightmares (though I'd
like to get it). The Dance of Eternity set is worth the $42 (I paid $45 for it)The quality is really good. Consciously Unreal is okay (I paid $45 for this
set too, so at least the price is right!) This set is not as good as the
dance of eternity set. However if you like DT's old singer, Charlie Dominicci,
you'll be happy to know that this set contains some tracks sung by him.
later, Gary
ps If you'd like more info on the 2, 2 cd sets e-mail me personally and I'd
be happy to give it to you.

anyone can help me, please send me e-mail!

Its made up of the letters in Dream Theater. If you have an imagination
and look closely, you can find most of them in it.

Yeah, I was in tha back for the Metallica show, but they showed James in the
crowd on the giant screens, and our little section in back was the "TAPING
SECTION", i.e., we were allowed to tape and/or videotape the show! Just
ask for these taping section tix at the next metallica show, maybe they'll
do it again.

Hmmmm, could be irritation, though I've seen the same sort of screaming
before, and he has ignored them just fine. I wonder if maybe he got
sick. He hasn't been the healthiest person in the world since he joined
the band.

This, I would have loved to see. Just out of curiosity, how was his
singing?

Not really. He usually appears pretty mellow on stage, as he does in
person.

Who is "he?" If "he" is anyone other than James, then "he" pulled off a
neat trick going to SUNY *and* Berklee School of Music in Boston at the
same time. 8-)

It comes from back when they were "Majesty." It's an old symbol for
Mary, Queen of Scots.
