Well, why don't you try to get in touch with the official fan club, the
record company or the management and give them some information about
this list so that they may do somethintg like a note for the sleeve from
    the new album....??

OK, guys after about two weeks of wondering what happened to the
list I resubscribed. Funny, somehow I was booted or something.
Anyway, If there's been any new info on either the new FW or DT
albums in the last few weeks, I'd sure appreciate it if someone could
e-mail me any thing they have or know. Thanks!

First time posting here. Good to hear that _Awake_ is coming out,
although what the hel is that "Jane's Addiction" thing mentioned somewhere?

Anyway, for anybody, this is a little bitmap that I drew of the Majesty
symbol. Good for your everyday icon on your system. Also there is an
Ascii pic of the M symbol down here if you don't use X windows.

    Subject: article in Instru Mental

I just typed in the little article from Instru Mental
    here it is:

    "
In 1987, over a year after the original Majesty lineup had united, it
was time for a personnel change. Vocalist Chris Collins was asked to
leave. The ensuing task of finding the proper replacement turned into
a long ongoing process. Dozens of potential replacements proved to
fall short of the band's demands.
While writing at practice, Majesty developed quite a catalog of
songs. To help combat some of the frustration of being without a
vocalist for so long, the band had to do something. In 1987 they
entered the studio to record the completed instrumental versions of the
songs they had written in the previous months. Although some of the
music would be incorporated into the band's first album, much of it
was never heard by the public until now. This CD also features two
bonus tracks. The first is a dazzling drum solo. The second is an epic
guitar solo that was recorded for "Guitar Player" magazine.
This disc is a unique piece of history that all Dream Theater fans
need in their CD collection. Enjoy it!
                                                            "

pretty cool. if someone else has the majesty demos article typed in, we
could put them together and make a history of the band with it. Maybe
when the rest of the demos come out (I have a hunch they will), then
we'd have a pretty cool history for the faq.
