One time, I typed an entire e-mail backwards, with the heading right-aligned at the bottom, and all the words in reverse order. After having to type all of those spaces backwards, I thought I would go crazy. Then I realized that I'm already crazy, so I said what the f*ck. I think I'll do that to the 'Jam pretty soon. And now here I am, watching someone else make fun of me at my expense for once, instead of the other way around. Sweet. Well, I'm going to go take Amanda's advice, and randomly stick all of my CDs on my rack in no order whatsoever, and say to hell with organizing them. I can't even remember which category I put some of my stuff under. Besides, as far as reactions from other people, this will definitely do it: "Frick, what the hell did you do?! Are you crazy?!" Hehe. Yes...

Yes, but he called you a 'lamefuck.' Nothing you will ever do can make up for that. Sure, you'll graduate from high school or college, or go looking for a new job, and yeah, they might think you're well qualified (especially if you let them know you like Godsmack), and they'll be about to shake your hand and show you your new office, and then they'll look at the bottom and see that the "Are you, or have you ever been, a 'lamefuck?" box is checked, very small and lightly in pencil in hopes that they won't find out, but it is checked nevertheless, and they'll say "I'm sorry, we are an equal opportunity employer as far as race, age, sex, and sexual preference are concerned, but if you had read the neon sign on the door, we do not hire lame fucks. Such as yourself." And of course you'll protest. And offer things like oral sex, free visits to the XXX Petting Zoo (that you're so proud of) that you set up in your living room last fall, or all the plastic silverware you've stolen from fast food restaurants in the last sixth months (you REBEL!) that you've been saving up, and they'll say "No thanks, we still can't hire a lame fuck," and you'll say "Wait wait, I'll---" and they'll say "Get out," and you'll say "But--!" and they'll say "NO!" and you'll give up on niceties and burst into the full choreographed dance from Britney Spears' hit video "Hit Me Baby One More Time," and impress them with your accurate recreation of a catholic school girl in heat, all the while counting quietly, but audibly (it's okay, everyone uses a metronome and you forgot yours), and you'll finish, and they'll clap in awe (who wouldn't, you're very good) and they might even ask for an encore, in which case you'll gladly tie up your business shirt again and dance with even more enthusiasm than you did the first time, and even after the standing ovation, you'll say "So, now what do you think?" and they'll say "Sorry, we still can't hire a lame fuck."

'Sup, Ben. What the hell, no cookie? That's crap. By the way, I'm only a casual Godsmack fan, as you probably guessed by the origin of this entire 2-day "I'm going completely Prog" "Lamefuck" thing. If I'm completely Prog, where does Godsmack fit in? But, if you ever want to vent and give yourself a good case of whiplash, Godsmack's your best bet. Well, that and the middle of "You Not Me." See, Prog fixes everything! It's too late to be typing, and I still haven't un-arranged my CDs yet, since I've been away from the house for the last hour or so. So, I'll just go get my own cookie. Hey, it's always good to have more people here. Maybe they'll stop picking on me now.) I wish I had more time, this weekend just happened to work out great for checking my e-mail, I usually don't have time to read the 'Jam, so I just check the subjects. DO NOT TRY THIS!!! I have missed many a good post because of this. This is my second time on here too, I unsubscribed the first time because I had no time, and I've been back on for a few months now. Enjoy!

I doubt this has been mentioned, but on I think Thursday in the afternoon, I was out working, driving around town making deliveries, and I went to a place and they were playing 93.3 WMMR in philadelphia over the speakers, and the afternoon guy, Pierre, was reading some people's requests for a block of Rush. Well, I wasn't really paying attention, but as I was walking out, he was reading a letter from William Shields from somewhere in Pennsylvania, and my eyes widened when I heard the DJ reading the letter about how much the guy likes Rush and how good they are, and at the tale end of the letter, he says " -- and John Petrucci is pretty cool." Just out of nowhere. Now this is a station that would never play DT. It's a good station - classic and modern rock - but no real heavy stuff and no Limop Bizkit or shit like that. Anyways...just thought I'd give myself a reason to de-lurk.

There should be 2 CDs in there...the concert was about 104 minutes long. Assuming that they removed the dialogue from the concert, that would leave about 90 minutes of music.
And, I don't think it's going to be in stores any time soon unless Petrucci & Rudess find a distributor for this kind of stuff.

SPACE REVOLVER is what I ordered first but you can hardly miss with Flower Kings. All of their albums are awesome. Just that some have more mellow parts, soem are mixed, but overall they all show explosion of creativity. :) I was NEVER amazed by some music as with Flower Kings and Spock's Beard.

Well, with around 2500, you gotta organize them somehow or you're never going to find JACK. I got 'em in catagories as follows: 1. Prog-Rock (old prog, neo-prog, mellow prog) 2. Prog-Metal (can't decide which one to put Kansas in) 3. Guitarists 4. Rock/Pop 5. Adult Contemporary/Folk/Mellow 6. Soundtracks/Scores 7. Rockbilly/Roots/Roadhouse/Blues 8. Swing 9. Jazz 10. 80's New Wave 11. Classical 12. Comedy 13. Christmas 14. R&B Dance 15. Punk/Funk/Funky Rock/Ska/Reggae 16. New Age
Then Alphabetical. Within one band, it goes singles, studio, other, of course chronologically. I'm not sure what to do with remasters. Put them after each studio or in their own group? Also side projects; I have Mulmuzzler & Winter Rose in with DT, but Planet X, Jordan solo, Transatlantic, etc. in their own section... I like to keep the bands together even if they change genres, unless an album is specifically Christmas, so for example, first 2 TSO's go in Chistmas, 3rd one in Prog-Metal.
Trevor has too much time on his hands, too little money in his wallet, and not enough room in his house for all his shit.

Sheesh.....
Since everyone's getting so sentimental, and people are slowly coming out of the woodwork and all, I would just like to remind everyone that although Event may be a kick-ass band and all, please remember that BERKLEE AIN'T NO F$@&IN' GUARANTEE!!!!!!
(the censoring is for the obscenity-sensitive tools on the list).
