Can we expect a new CD in 2001, besides a live album? I hate long periods
between releases. I know these guys have enough talent/material for another
CD. It would be a shame to go so long without one. The guys pulled off LTE
I/II in almost no time, on probably a shoe string budget compared to SFAM,
    and look what they produced!

    GIVE US MORE!

    Hey Skadz!
Is there any thing that can be done about this huge amount of spam?

    ____

A friend of my husband's, made me a great cd-r(with mostly DT), one of the
tunes is a Yes Medley with Steve Howe. I would like to know when and were
this was recorded, and any other information on that show(thanks in
    advance).

btw.. the guy who made the cd for me had never heard of dt before and now
that he has been introduced to their music he thinks they are great!

    Pam

Part of that can be seen on Dream Theater's official "5 years in a livetime"
VHS tape. Along with some other guest appearances.

.and I agree about the amount of SPAM we get on this list. I don't
remember seeing this much junk mail on the list before we moved over to
    TorchSong..

They have to deal with the record label to get releases.. They are still
touring currently so they obviously are not in the studio recording anything
for the new CD yet :) Hang in there and we'll have another CD before
    long.

My friend told me couple of days ago that they're going to studio next
    February. Can anyone confirm it?

At the Roseland concert, James told us that the band was going into the
studio to record a new album in JANUARY. I'm guessing that they'll
probably take the holidays off to be with their families and then head
into the studio in the middle part of January, so I'd say that we can
expect an album release in late September or early October.

But that all depends on how much time they take recording, and then how
much in post-production as well, so you can never tell.

I like to go down to the dog pound and pretend
that I've found my dog. Then I tell them to kill
it anyway because I already gave away all of his
stuff. Dog people sure don't have a sense of
    humor.

Lack of posting? :) If you subscribe to the 'Jam in single-message mode,
there isn't that big delay before getting messages..
But if you are subscribed in digest mode, you have to wait for a certain
number of messages or size of messages submitted before getting the
    digest... It's a catch-22..

    LOL, hear this:

"... the band playing the song was very tired, so that some of its
members were playing the tune in 3/4, others in 2/3, and third in some
    kind of Pi*squared(R) rhythm"

    Sick, very sick. :)
Douglas rules. The most twised sense of humour I ever read.
