I am SO annoyed - I don't think I'm going to be able to see this
before Christmas! I'm working late tonight, and tomorrow I'm going out
for a meal, and all day Saturday I'm doing my Christmas shopping, and
I have to get to bed really early on Saturday evening so I can get up
at 5am on Sunday to drive up north for six hours to catch the 11am
ferry, and when I'm back home with my parents the local cinema is
about two months behind the rest of the world so LOTR won't be on up
there, and I don't get back down to civilisation until the 29th, and
after another six-hour drive south I'll be too tired to see the
film. So I won't get to see it until the 30th!

    Argh!

The new album has been steadily riding up CDNow's top 100 chart; when I checked earlier this morning it was at #37.

Hope it makes the top 10 like LSFNY did...

Just for fun I checked both CDNOW and Amazon screens for the pre-orders for 6DOIT, and Amazon has an outrageous price for this new CD set. CDNOW is like $17 which is acceptable for a 2-CD set. Don't pre-order with Amazon !!! They want way too much.

Only because they're having a 30%-off sale. I think they (CDNow) were selling it for around $23 a couple of days ago. But, you're quite right: they're cheaper than Amazon. :-)

I agree with you, although I don't take the liberty and artistic license taking to task, for obviously not all literary references and material can make the translation to the screen. BUt I was also astounded, I know the books fairly well, but it felt like my first time with a new novel. Now If I could work on self-promotion of my new CD with that movie crew (and maybe to direct a video for me)...

Hello! I just wanted to comment on the possibility of DT releasing the edit version of Misunderstood as a single. This song is perfect for the radio, since it's quite straightforward, but yet containing several progressive elements, as well as awesome musicianship and awesome melodies. It also has a heavy feel, which is the direction popular music seems to be heading to once again (Yeayyyy!!!!). That's it. 6DOIT rules!!!!!

You need new friends. This film is outstanding. Go by yourself if you have to.

    A modern-day, politically-correct holiday greeting:

Please accept with no obligation, implied or implicit, our best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low stress, non-addictive, gender neutral, celebration of the winter solstice holiday, practiced within the most enjoyable traditions of the religious persuasion of your choice, or secular practices of your choice, with respect for the religious/secular persuasions and/or traditions of others, or their choice not to practice religious or secular traditions at all; and a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling, and medically uncomplicated recognition of the onset of the generally accepted calendar year 2002, but not without due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures, and without regard to the race, creed, color, age, physical ability, religious faith, choice of computer platform, or sexual preference of the wishees. By accepting this greeting, you are accepting these terms. This greeting is subject to clarification or withdrawal. It is freely transferable with no alteration to the original greeting. It implies no promise by the wisher to actually implement any of the wishes for her/himself or others, and is void where prohibited by law, and is revocable at the sole discretion of the wisher. This wish is warranted to perform as expected within the usual application of good tidings for a period of one year, or until the issuance of a subsequent holiday greeting, whichever comes first, and warranty is limited to replacement of this wish or issuance of a new wish at the sole discretion of the wisher.

Oh, what the heck: Happy Holidays and Best Wishes for the New Year! <grin>
