underrated?? What's so special about distrubed?? Nothing... they just
take guitar riffs, give it a 90's edge and call themselves disturbed...
    That's like calling Korn innovative.

If you want to listen to good 90's pseudo-metal shit, listen to Linkin
    Park...

I'd rather listen to Godsmack then Disturbed.

Yup I have it and frankly it bores me, nothing exciting or original or any memorable songs.

One of the disappointments of last year, so if anyone wants it, it's in mint condition no scratches on the CD, booklet is in perfect condition. $10 US airmail postage paid anywhere in the world.

    Dear Windows User,

Now you can boost the reliability of ordinary Windows ME, 95 and 98 to nearly the level of Windows NT or 2000, Microsoft's professional and=20 industrial version of Windows.

The new WinFix 4.4 is a very effective way to improve the reliability of Windows, because it makes Windows fault-tolerant and self-repairing. And WinFix is very safe, because it operates completely independent of Windows.

    Virus's suck

The pC with the burner is "ill" right now.

Friggin Norton 2001 didn't detect anything, and my stepdad did some thing that makes it boot up in safe mode now. All that happened was the fonts for MS works got deleted, and it wouldn't open those files. We backed everything up. But I suggested try reloading MS works. but that would ahev been to easy so now Im screwed right now.

No mp.com, no dt.net, no IM (hey cloak!) You guys are my source and salvation right now, don't let me or my ego down, since im such a glory hog, and love DT to make myself feel good.

Kurtx3 hates this crap, but can still do the jam.

You shouldn't knock what you don't know anything about, it's a killer album, nothing like the Winger stuff. Atmospheric, dark, moody and great songs.

Just wanted to post a warning here, after discovering this problem w/ my DTIFC membership.

I had not received anything since my summer issue. I was concerned, and after not hearing anything back from emailing the US email address about my membership decided to email the membership email address from the Netherlands. After doing so, I discovered that my membership had expired, but that there was an error at the printing house, and they hadn't indicated that it was expiring on the envelope, not included a renewal form when they were supposed to. This seems to have happened to people if their membership was expiring after the summer issue.

Just wanted to post a warning here before people loose out on getting their DTIFC CD from the winter issue.

Not a big fan of the Disturbed album, but I've only listened to it a few times. Didn't really catch my attention. Maybe a couple more listens may change my mind.

Linkin Park, however, definitely is one of the brighter spots in "mainstream"-ish music that gets decent airplay. I would definitely recommend it if you like a good mix of in your face riffs with the rap, scratching, electronic thing. Hybrid Theory is a good pick-up indeed.

Then, of course, is your consummate bright spot in today's more popular mainstream stuff. That being Incubus. Without a doubt one of the better bands to come into the mix over the past few years. Definitely pick up "Make Yourself", then scrounge some cash up for "S.C.I.E.N.C.E.".....

there, my semi-yearly Incubus plug. :)

Nope, because there is no CDRom stuff on the Aussie version. We get jipped with 2 'bonus' tracks. Thus being 'On The Turning Away', a great cover of the Pink Floyd song and 'Inner Peace'.

Yep exact same thing happend to me. I didn't recieve any issues, but l knew my membership was up. I didn't recieve any advice that my membership was up.

So I emailed them and eventually found out i needed to renew. One thing that does bug me is that the only way now to pay for your membership, is to fax them your CC details.

Shortly after the switch-over from Neil Elliott, I mailed someone to ask if my membership was still valid. I was told that I still had two or three issues on my membership. I received one issue of the fanzine, and nothing since then. I suppose I should renew, since my membership has obviously expired without me realising it or being informed of it.

Yeah, there's talk of Avalon and many other Progressive Metal & Rock bands over on the Symphony X mailing list. The best thing to do in a case like this is to seek out some sound samples on the web and see if you like the songs. I have this CD and it's pretty good, but your mileage may vary as usual. Find some samples and see what you think.
