I'd be interested in buying the XXL one. I have one from WAY back in the
day, but it's well worn. How much do ya want?

I'm sure most (if not all) of you read the NG, but just in case you missed
    it:

I recorded the show from the balcony on a Sony PCM-M1 DAT deck. The sound
is awesome, minimal crowd noise and everything is clear, even Jay
Beckenstein's sax solo on Another Day. I didn't want people to get the boot
(since it's complete) and not the official release, so I'm requesing proof
of purchase of the DVD or VHS. I would hope that once it hits the trading
circles, people would use the same tact. Shipping will begin 2 weeks after
the DVD/VHS is released to allow time for people to find and buy the
official set and send proof to me.
NOTE: Trades are welcomed, but still must be accompanied by proof of
    purchase..

More importantly than the device you recorded the show on, what kind of
    mics did you use?

really wants a shirt (bright yellow, no less!) and realizes that a
depopulation of twinkies could be a really bad thing for this planet,

Never fear... did I actually ever place that order though Josh? I know I
emailed you about it, just checking if I have to make it "official."

Yeah the volume over there is incredible. I subbed to digest over there in
self-defense but still get an incredible amount of mail in my TEOF box..
reminds me of the days when I first subbed to the jam in '97, when posting
    was hot and heavy!

Yeah, they've been multi-colored this week.. blue and green.. glad to see
I'm not the only one getting them in rainbow hues. This last one was black
again (5800), but this time I was prepared. Ha! I'm convinced the spam
has something to do with it, in my ever-so-genius
    liberal-art-degree-candidate sort of way.

off to watch some college hoops!

    Hey all -

I heard John's acoustic on Images and Words (forgot what track)
and I thought the recording quality was bad (not trying to say John is a
bad guitarist, quite the contrary, I think he's quite good), and then my
friend told me to go listen to Scenes from a Memory part II, track 12
(Finally Free), and he told me it was the same acoustic, so I listened
to it, and it sounded much better. So, I was wondering what kind of
acoustic does John use? (brand and model) and what effects he used on
    it. Thanks!

john's not a bad guitarist. he's not quite good either. he's just mediocre.
    hehehe, just kidding!
i remember seeing him in guitar magazines ad's, with ibanez acoustics.
plus, there were some videos floating around some time ago. including the
video that was included in the xmas cd. JP appears playing an
acoustic....but i cat remember if the brand was noticeable.
does anybody knows if JP still used his Ibanez electrics on M2? what other
electric guitars have JP used for recording? (non ibanezes.....)
