Pantera, Machine Head and the others mentioned below are NOT power metal. I think someone is VERY confused here. Power
Metal does apply to bands like Stratovarius, Angra, Helloween, Symphony X, Blind Guardian and the like. Groove-oriented metal is
not power metal. Never has been.

stretch. Almost like calling Poison "thrash metal".
