Hello I personally taped the following shows recently(SONY DAT w/binaural
mics & bass rolloff filter), inicluding DT.
DIO 2-AUG-2002 COORS AMPHITHEATER SAN DIEGO MASTER 1CDR
SCORPIONS 2-AUG-2002 COORS AMPHITHEATER SAN DIEGO MASTER 1CDR
DEEP PURPLE 2-AUG-2002 COORS AMPHITHEATER SAN DIEGO MASTER 1CDR
KINGS X 9-AUG-2002 HUMPHREY'S SAN DIEGO, CA MASTER 1CDR
DREAM THEATER 9-AUG-2002 HUMPHREY'S SAN DIEGO, CA MASTER 1CDR
JOE SATRIANI 9-AUG-2002 HUMPHREY'S SAN DIEGO, CA MASTER
Also I personally recorded
G3: JOE SATRIANI, STEVE VAI, & JOHN PETRUCCI (28-June-2000) SAN DIEGO 4CDR
MASTER
as well as other groups such as:
AEROSMITH
BECK, JEFF
CHEAP TRICK
CLAPTON, ERIC
MCCARTNEY, PAUL
TOWNSHEND, PETE
MSG
THE WHO
I am writing request trades. I haven't finished transferring the Satch set
yet. I recorded the show from the 3rd row center. The DT set is about
80min. I am pretty new to DT (I need help with the setlist). Also the G3
2000 show came out really good. I thought Petrucci was the best of the 3
sets at G3. My intro to Petrucci was seeing him with the Ernie Ball
all-stars w/ Morse, Lukather, Levin, etc. in Anaheim during a NAMM show I
was stupid though and didn't bring my DAT deck. (Does that show circulate)?
My list is at:

I've had it for a week or so and am really digging it! In my opinion, neither
Haven nor Damage Done are as melodic as Projector (my fave DTranq album) but
they're equally as aggressive and great. Damage Done has a couple of songs
(later on in the album) that stand out as real winners, but the whole thing is
still really solid. In a way, it's Haven Part II.

hey, while on the topic of bootleg trades, does anyone out there have a
copy of Queensryche's MTV unplugged performance?? i have been able to
find snipits of it here and there, but not the whole show. if anyone has
it, then please contact me off-Jam and we'll talk about a trade of some
sort. thanks all.

I like it a lot, nothing too different from previous outings so if you like older DT, you'll like the new DT. Err, that's this DT band, not that other DT band. :) I haven't grokked the new one yet in its fulless but the title track ("Damage Done") is good.
I played two tracks from it (the latter being "Damage Done") over WREK-FM 91.1 here this past Friday night and early Saturday morning. There is a week-long archive of the radio station's broadcast, so you could tune in and listen to the archive. The URL is http://cyberbuzz.gatech.edu/wrek/stream/schedule.shtml.
The playlist for this past Friday/early Sat. show isn't up yet, but I'll have it up soonly, at http://wrekage.paulcashman.com.

Noooo, not the dreaded Birch Hell. DT (the -real- DT, not this other DT band) played here in Atlanta tonight and I was reminiscing with some others about the infamous Dream Theater shows at Birch Hell, especially that -incredibly- packed show (Home for the Holidays, I think....1995?). Truly scary situation.
