I remember reading in some kind of FAQ an answer to a question like "What
exactly is a space dye vest anyway?". Well, I have a) forgotten the answer
and b) forgotten where I found it (I tried dtfaq.com, couldn't see it).
So, now I pose to you a question which has been plaguing me for at least the
last 5 minutes.
What exactly is a space dye vest anyway? I seem to remember the answer went
into details about colour. Can anyone fill any gaps in?
Cheers!
Niall

Looking at www.dtfaq.com I found the answer in only 1 minute :)
"I was looking through a clothing catalog & saw a picture of a girl modeling
this piece of clothing called a space-dye vest. And, so, I fell in love with
her [laughs] for some strange reason & so the minute I did that, the minute
I was just like obsessed with this person, I was like, 'why am I doing
that?' & I noticed that I was doing it a lot lately. And I think the prime
reason that I was doing that, and this is what I figured out at the time,
was that I had just come out of a relationship where I'd gotten dumped,
basically, and so I think the situation was that I wasn't finished giving
all that I was ready to give, so I was just, like, throwing it around, you
know, just aiming it in different directions. It was a total case of
projection. And this song is just trying to sort it out & just kind of
admitting that I'm just kind of lost. So it's kind of a dark song. It was
very cathartic though."

Always, always, always consult Google. Google knows all.

Unless you're trying to generate some traffic on the Jam. :)
Because of you Jammers I downloaded a bunch of Opeth songs. I'll listen
to them today at work.

I beleive it has multiple colors, in small uneven stripes. Kevin Moore saw
a picture of a Space Dye Vest in a catalog.

If you can get past the Cookie Monster Vocals, I guess all is well. :)

WELCOME TO THE CLUB!
I recently discovered Opeth as well, and as a consequence have and love all
of their albums. They truly are something refreshing and innovative. My
personal favorite albums are Blackwater Park and Still Life.

I may have DSL again in the middle of January and I can once again open up
my hard drive for those to share. (I used to host an FTP site). Good
thing I saved the original posts about the hub.

I would suggest you keep it on your HD, and when the 'jam DC opens back up
on January 8th or so, a few people could share it with you... ahem, namely
myself =)
