Even residing temporarilly here in NC, I'm prs even remotely close to the Carolina's at this juncture!
Damn... I guess I'll have to wait until a future leg (or other appendage) of the tour kicks off. And
being a Long Island, NY'er who's accustomed to seeing DT sometimes 2+ times a year, the waiting game
could spell creative and musical disaster for me (well, that might be overstating it, but you get the
point). Anyone who's attending, please keep us posted of the set-list, and whatnot. Thanks...

    Hey guys & gals,

I'm in the market for a new(ish ;) car stereo system.
My radio still works just fine, but my tape deck -
yep! - conked out on me some weeks back. I was told
that it would be very expensive to take out and
replace, and that it would be more worthwhile to
simply get a CD player installed. So, that is what I
    am going to do.

However, I don't want to get one of those
front-loading CD players in the body of the car, as
they have a tendency to scratch the CDs, or so I have
heard. I would prefer one of those 10-disc changer
things that are installed in your trunk space, with
the control up in the dashboard area. Right now I am
in the $300-400 range, so nothing super-fantabulous
and wildly expensive, please, but any
    recommendations/tips would be appreciated, course.

I know nothing about this topic, so feel free to
    educate me!

    Thanks in advance,
    Alex

If someone breaks into your car and steals stuff, this could be
    heartbreaking. :-(

Hello! Just saw on CDNow that there's a new DT cd available as an advance order, to be released on March 12, 2002. The cd is When Dream and Day Unite (Limited Edition). Does anybody know what's special about this re-release? Any extra songs or what? Thanks for any info.

If there is a place in your area called "Car Toys", check them out. They do not charge for installation of any CD Deck or CD changer or speakers as long as you buy them there. This month is like a 50% sale so check 'em out at cartoys.com. If they aren't in your area, many car audio stores will install things you buy there for free. Check before you buy.

I have a 6-disc changer in my Honda Passport (SUV) and it skips more than my in-dash CD deck. Most 6-disc and 10-disc changers run in the $199 range right now so if you are in a $300 range, check into an AMP and/or a speaker upgrade as well.

No, no extra songs. It's just a re-release, with no approval from the band. Apparently, however, it IS remastered (they were quite funny about it--"using 32-bit technology!"), so it might be worth it to buy. There's a limited run of 5,000 copies being made, and they're all numbered. I wonder if they'll include the full lyrics booklet this time around...

It's actually listed as When Day And Dream Unite (note the subtle rewording). This is intriguing! Possibly a remix and/or remaster?

The re-release by One Way Records has no lyrics in it. It's just a single-sheet insert with a tracklisting on the inside.
