Thanks for the pointer. I liked the sample and will have to try
    out the CD.

I confess to paying #27.99 at HMV... This is totally gutting, because, like
you say, it certainly isn't the band who will be raking it in. I would love
to know who set this price. This is around $40, Amazon.com have it for under
$20! Wonder if the band know about this con.

However, at the end of the day, I would rather pay that price for music of
that quality than #12 for most other bands CD's, but don't tell the record
companies that... Hammersmith here I come!

The evolution of this band is simply stunning...

    Tony

PS I actually drove about 70 miles during an extended lunchtime to find a
copy, so I was always going to buy it when I found it!

    Hi all,

Just wanted to come out of the darkness and add my thoughts on 6doit:

I won't state the obvious and say how good it is and so. Just for the record: it is great.

It's just that it is a *really* weird album:

    - The Glass Prison sounds (again, obviously) like a Symphony X piece, which is not bad, but - again - weird. - Blind Faith is really great, I love the part after the 2nd chorus. - Misunderstood - well, again, not a typical DT song... Still very nice. - The Great Debate - I really hope this song will grow on me, but I don't really like it right now. Too long for me (and for all the instant-flamers: I really loved ACoS). - Disappear - This song is really beautiful. One of the best DT song I've ever heard. - 6doit - well, I can't judge it yet as I haven't heard it enough, however: Am I the only one that thinks that Solitary Shell really resembles (both in rythem section and in vocal melodies) the Suzane Vega song 'Marlena on the Wall' (or however this song is called)?

Anyone else wanna add their thoughts?

    Cheers,

    Shai Yallin
