I used to not like them. Then I gave them a second chance and it finally clicked for me. Their stuff certainly requires a bit more time to digest than most other stuff, in my opinion.

I have both their (POS) first 2 CDs and have tried many times. And I have a very open mind believe it or not. I love "Kid A" as an example. I love Gentle Giant as another example of challenging stuff. I just think POS tries way too hard and I don't dig his (Daniel) voice. Oh well, with 3000 some odd CDs I have plenty to fall back on, right? :)

You may want to give a chance to "Remedy Lane" their first 2 cds i would agree about some parts sounding like they're "trying too hard", but right now they IMO found their "groove" and its 10x better than Enthropia and One hour [...] BTW : Kid A is awesome!

That's interesting. "Remedy Lane" is the one I'm having the most difficulty digesting. I thought "One Hour..." was the most accessible. *shrug*

Well one hour is the most "prog metal" in a vein more similar to DT... but i think its way more over the top than Remedy Lane, which is more focused on the story and lyrics. Its been long since a song has touched me deeper than "A trace of blood"... reading the lyrics while listening to DGs vocals just floors me every time... Its worth sticking with the music, POS is just one of those bands that "click" after a while... :) > > That's interesting. "Remedy Lane" is the one I'm having the most > difficulty digesting.
