Opeth played for a packed house last night in Glasgow. And what a show it was!
I'm biased, but seriously, these guys are simply amazing! I love all five
albums, and the only thing that could have improved the show would have
been a song from Orchid.
But anyway, the songs they played last night are all favourites, and the
band was alive and spot-on!
The set list in case anyone is interested:
The Leper Effinity
Godhead's Lament
Advent
The Drapery Falls
Credence
The Funeral Portrait
White Cluster
Encore: Demon of The Fall

Yeah, that's what I thought as soon as I started watching it. Good movie.
*****SPOILERS*******
Anybody notice that the house she was murdered in was the convent she was
staying in after she went nuts? I only ask because my girlfriend, who's good
at picking up on that stuff, missed it.

Wow...this movie took me a good while to understand. Let's give it all away without giving too much away--and quickly.
[swing dancing intro] death
{everything up to and including "falling into box] death dream,
[remainder of movie] real events leading up to death.
OH, and for those of you who don't mind a racy photo--this was taken at X-Fest 2002, last weekend...of two dames and myself, and is good DT publicity.

I know that so far there has been a serious lack of information and
updates on the upcoming Dream Theater/Satch/King's X tour and ticket
sale dates so I wanted to give everyone an update. When I checked the
Ticketbastard site to see what kind of seats were available for the show
in Baltimore I was shocked to see that there are still currently tickets
available in the 14th row!! For those of you who are not familiar with
this venue, for a "pavilion" it is VERY small. So I went ahead and
checked what other venues had tickets already on sale.
Tickets for the following shows are ALREADY on sale, grab some good
seats while you still can:
Fri 08/09/02 San Diego, CA Humphrey's
Sat 08/10/02 Los Angeles, CA Greek Theatre
Fri 08/30/02 Clarkston, MI DTE Energy Music Theatre
Fri 09/06/02 Baltimore, MD Pier Six Concert Pavilion
Fri 09/13/02 Holmdel, NJ P.N.C. Bank Arts Center
Sat 09/14/02 Wantagh, NY Tommy Hilfiger at Jones Beach
Tickets for the following show go on sale this Saturday, June 1:
Tue 08/13/02 Denver, CO CityLights Pavilion
We need to show our support for the bands, and besides this is one of
the best triple bills I have seen in a long time.
Don't miss out people!!
Chris
