Ha ha! You figured it out. Big "crime" pays off. Big
corporate executives rip off the company/shareholders
for $100 million, and their penalty is $1 million (if
    any). That's some punishment.

BTW, rumor is that the maximum payout for an
individual CD consumer in California will be $20...

Where exactly did you get this story from, anyway? I haven't seen it on
    any news sites.

If it is true, then $20 a person is ridiculous. Is that, what, one dollar
back for every CD you bought, up to twenty? As much as free money is nice
(and hey, twenty bucks is twenty bucks), that's just the record companies
    thumbing their noses at us.

Ah. Enlightenment. Thanks Glenn & Jax :)
As you may have guessed, I haven't taken a look over
at the PP "schedule" in quite some time; I just new
    that was the same weekend.

    >Can you see the beauty of tour booking yet ;)

Mm, so far it hasn't changed my life in radical ways,
but I'm sure BG are happy about it, hehe.

    Hello all,

Here's something strange that I've been hearing on the radio here in the
Boston area. There's a band called Ra, a band from Haverhill,
Massachusetts that just got signed to Universal/Republic Records. Their
single, "Do You Call My Name," has some passages that sound very much like
'Awake' era Dream Theater (namely like "The Mirror").

If you want to hear the song for yourself, go to:

    http://www.raband.net/mp3s/doyoucallmyname.mp3

It's curious that DT-influenced bands are now getting airplay while DT
    doesn't anymore...

    Electronically,
    Dom
