I saw them in July - and ditto, you won't be disappointed. :-)

Oh, and if you can get up front, try. They've got clothes dryers up
on stage with t-shirts in them. They throw the t-shirts out to the crowd at
the end of the show. Somebody at the Rochester DT show had one, the back
said something like "I got this shirt from dryer #3 on the Vapor Trails
    tour"

Needless to say, I was quite envioius. :-)

            -Dan.

In a mind-blowing e-mail sent on the extremely historic date of 9/12/02 2:44
    PM, Partha thusly spaketh:

    > Just curious if anyone went to the San Diego
    > DT/Satch/KX show back in early august, and what you
    > might have thought about it.....

I was at it - I had 2nd row seats right in front of JP. The band's
performance was fine and the setlist was good (altho I personally could have
done without hearing all of 6DoIT again). DT did the warped version of PMU
    to end the set.

I wasn't paying attention, but somewhere along the line, James got pissed
off and left the stage shortly before he was to sing the last line "OH that
this too too solid flesh would melt." What was real strange was that he
didn't even bother coming back out to bow with the rest of the band. I
didn't get the chance to talk to talk to the guys that night, but I did in
LA the following night. I had forgotten to ask James abooot it (and yes, I
would have the balls to ask - a friend of mine and I asked what happened at
the Chicago show in March when he botched the lyrics to Battery), but I did
ask JP abooot it and he said "just inner band strife - nothing worth knowing
about." Some other people at the show think it was because of Mike speeding
up the temp for the warped version of PMU - that he couldn't keep up.
However, it wouldn't surprise me if it had to do with the smoke blowing from
one side of the stage as James made a comment abooot it in the middle of the
set. Whatever the case, it was odd seeing James act unprofessionally like
that. It's one thing to be pissed off - even on stage I wouldn't have a
problem with it, but storming off the stage and not returning wasn't cool,
    IMO.

Dunno if that's the kind of info you wanted, but there ya go.

    Scott
