Dates around Atlanta, but no date here yet. It should be interesting
how this booking works; it's a good tour, but not one that can expect to
fill a venue larger than the Tabernacle yet again (capacity c. 2,300),
and DT's guarantee has been high enough that Clear Channel, who own most
of the venues here, have been reluctant to book shows....

Still, it looks like the booking-agent is willing to settle for large
halls in the Southeast, so there's hope. The last time Queensryche
tried to play Lakewood Amphitheater here, they drew an embarassing
3,000-3,500, in a venue that holds 19,000...and this was back when they
drew a lot better than they draw now.

Part of the problem with this awesome prog-metal show is that it's JUST
a prog-metal show. DT fans are already fans of QR and Fates, by and
large, so there isn't too much of a genre crossover there. The converse
does not hold true for QR fans, some of whom don't know much about DT or
the prog-metal scene, so in the mind of a talent-buyer, it comes down to
"how many QR fans are left?"

I expect my roommate, who sometimes -- to our amusement -- seems to act
as a sort of unpaid metal expert for Clear Channel, to get a call from
    'em any day now. :)
