Definitely the most complicated. There are scenes during the siege of
Minas Tirith that are just jaw-dropping. (The trailer has hinted at
this, but it's really astounding.) Less complicated, but (to me) a
very moving scene and beautifully scored is the sequence where the
beacon fires are lit, beginning with the beacon at Minas Tirith.
Splendidly done. (Fans will want to bring some tissues along, although
probably not for that particular scene....)

Yep. We're aware of a few things that will be in the extended version
-- Christopher Lee, for one -- but we'll have to wait patiently for it.

If Peter J. doesn't take home an Oscar trophy this time, there is truly
no justice on this Earth...certainly not in the minds of the Academy.
It's clear from the behind-the-scenes footage and extra material that
this was a labor of love from everyone, and it shows in the final
    results.

the only thing i heard about christopher lee was that there were some deleted scenes in the extended cut. i don't think part three would be complete w/out his character being cast out. jacko
