    Rich,
First I'd suggest turning off HTML in your email client. As for
    the music:

Rush: I love both "2112" and "Moving Pictures" too. I don't like "newer"
Rush as much (after Hold Your Fire)

        - "Hemispheres" -- One of my favorites with Rush classics like
            "La Villa Strangiato" and "Trees."
        - "A Farewell to Kings" -- This one and "Hemispheres" follow in
the footsteps of "2112" with long songs and great instrumental
            sections.
        - "Permanent Waves" is somewhat like "Moving Pictures" though not quite
            as good, imho.
        - "Signals" came after "Moving Pictures" and starts moving a bit
more into the shorter song-oriented style, but has a lot of good tunes.
        - "Grace Under Pressure" follows in "Signals" footsteps with more great
            songs.

Yes: I also love both "Close to the Edge" and "Fragile".

        - "The Yes Album" - This one was before "Fragile" and is in a similar
vein. It contains a number of Yes classics like "Starship Trooper"
        - "Relayer" - This is a more experimental "Close to the Edge." I never
got into it as much as CttE though.
        - I didn't like the next few '70s Yes albums as much as the earlier ones.
They just got a bit too experimental. The only exception is "Going
for the One" which has the beautiful "Awaken."
        - "90125" - This was Yes' move into the '80s and while it's much more
pop than their earlier stuff it's still great.
        - "Keys to Ascension 2" - This has my favorite Yes tune from the '90s:
"Mind Drive," a 20 minute song that sits up there with the '70s ones.
The rest of the CD is good, but not as good as the '70s stuff.
        - Stay away from "Open Your Eyes" which was terrible, imo.
        - "Magnification" - This is their most recent CD. It's great! They
brought in an orchestra, which I was a bit concerned about since
the "orchestra plays Yes tunes" never worked that well for me, but
in this case it is wonderful. They do much more than just play backup.
They are an important part of the music which sounds fresh, crisp and
clean. It is different from their earlier CDs, but it is still
            classic Yes.

In any case, you're in for a treat. Let us know what you decide
    and enjoy!

                                    Steve
