Listened to these over the weekend..
Strapping Young Lad - This was my first time to hear SYL so I wasn't sure
what to expect. The vocals surprised me some. Had just a little bit of
cookie vocals going on, although it was more like aggressive
screeching/yelling vocals. The rest of the band was very good. Great use of
the keyboards.

This one doesn't suck and has great flow. Still listening to it now.

They've beefed things up since Lion's Cage but still have their melodic
Marillion/Genesis style. I have the 2 mp3s from Contagion and if you were
into Immortal? like I was (am)...you'll be all set.
