If you read all of the various quotes on this, they
beat around the bush a little, but it looks mostly
like a "too many cooks" issue. Jim M. had some
original ideas, and sent them around to the various
players. He started to work with Kevin Moore, who had
more ideas, and went in that direction. At the same
time, Daniel G. had a bunch of ideas in another
direction. So by the time Daniel came back to Jim with
his ideas, it was probably just a case of too much and
too diverse material. He was already focused on the
KevMo collaberation, and Daniel was the odd man out.
Of course that's my interpretation of everything I
read...
