A Direct Connect hub was started a few months ago that specializes in DT
content. All of the users on it are sharing DT and various files. I
managed to download cds 5 and 6, as well as 1 and 2. If you get on this
hub, I'd be happy to share them with you.
I don't remember who you have to contact on the ytsejam torchsong to get
a password. Post on there that you'd like to get on there, and I'm sure
that the operator of it will reply to you.

I'm more of an "old" Rush fan. My favorite Rush CD's, in order, are:
1. Hemispheres 2. 2112 3. Rush 4. Permanent Waves 5. Fly By Night 6. Caress Of Steel 7. Moving Pictures 8. Signals 9. Grace Under Pressure 10. Roll The Bones 11. Presto 12. Power Windows 13. Counterparts 14. Test For Echo 15. Hold Your Fire
I don't have the new one, as I've been disappointed with newer Rush. I'll get it eventually...as long as it's cheap!
I'll rank the live CD's separately:

I don't really know, its in a bootleg a friend of mine copied for me. Apparently, it contains live songs that were intended to go into OIAL but didn't make it. It includes:
- Eve - Speak To Me - LSOAD - Hey You (floyd) - The silent man (with a really cool extend "bluesy" solo) - Cover my eyes - Mean Street - Good bye yellow brick road (those last two are Elton John covers Derek picked for some show) - Anna Lee - To live forever (don't remember what version. I'm guessing '94) - Thank You (where the guys thank various fans all over the world) - Bad (I think its a U2 cover)
Is this just a random compilation or does it have a name?

This was the Fan Club gig at The Nighttown in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. It was recorded on June 22, 1998, three days before the OIALT concert, and is found on the Nighttown NOstalgia boot, or the 1998 Fan Club Christmas CD.

for an "old" Rush fan, especially with Hemishperes & 2112 at the top two slots on your list, i'm admittedly surprised that A Farewell To Kings is nowhere to be found. especially since it is the first half of the Cygnus X-1 epic (another mammoth song once it's all together) that you enjoyed so much in Hemispheres. but, as it was said earlier, everyone's gonna' tell you something different. :) -eric

those are all tracks off of the 2-disc live set "Nighttown Nostalgia", which was a live fanclub show in Rotterdam. i'm assuming that the "thank you" track you're refering to is the track #4 on the 2nd disc, in which DT thanks the crew & the fanclubs for their support, etc. incredible show, with the most beautiful version of LSOAD i've probably ever heard (you can catch it on the exerpts on the 5YIALT video). the whole show was real stripped-down (MP playing on a 5-piece), and with a friendly, light-hearted atmosphere from the band. they practically joke with each other or each other between almost every track. our boys in top form.
