I think you should buy some too. My advice would be to start with the
Mac stuff - Critical Mass, Hypothetical, or Clone. Not just because I like
his voice best but I think it would be better to get used to the band with
their current singer. It would kind of suck to get more attached to the way
the sound with Glynn or Damian since they're no longer with the band. I did
an ebay search a while back for Dream Theater and it came up with a lot of
references to Threshold - sort of "if you like DT.." but I don't think the
two bands sound much alike at all.
Incidentally, I love how all of the interviews, except Jordan's, mention
Rush in some way or another! Reading Mike's comments especially were very
cool.
