I'm actually very much enamoured of OSI after just a few listens. It's
interesting though...it starts out with a heavier, thrashier style,
reminding me more of DT/FW; the further along in the disc it goes,
particularly after shutDOWN, the more it seems to morph into the darker
CK-style. I can see why those of you who didn't like CK aren't getting into
OSI as much, because this is definitely Kevin's baby for much of the album.
For myself, CK grew on me quickly, and I'm really liking the KM influence on
OSI. That little MP drum solo in the middle of Set the Controls caught my
attention too :-)
