I think the way it works is that you have the right to copy it, but the
distributors aren't obligated to make copying easy.

I swear, sometimes the jam just decides it doesn't want to hear what I have
to say :P Kinda like some people do... :P Of course, as soon as I point the
finger, it acts all innocent... we'll see if this post is censored or not...

The jam is out there...

That's the good thing about single-message mode. As soon as someone posts
a message to the list, it gets delivered.
I used to be on digest mode way back.

Yeah, I switched to ack mode, like, years ago. I think I've been
receiving it in ack mode basically since I joined. It's so much easier.

I remember seeing people ask stuff like "Wow, how'd you respond to a post
before the digest even got there?" :D

When it was high volume, and for those interested only in reading, digest was where it was at. However, since it's the deadjam, it was a day or two before a digest would appear in my inbox. So i switched over.

Anyone remember the name Jon Parmet? Besides you, Cloak, I KNOW you do...... :)

Well, I had dinner with him(and his lovely female coworker) last night here in Reston, VA. He had put up a notice on another message board that he was going to be in town on business, so I responded, and we were able to meet face to face for the first time last night. Had a wonderful meal at McCormick and Schmick's, and, somewhat surprisingly, the conversation was almost all business. DT didn't even come up until we got in the car for the drive back to their hotel, when Jon requested that I put on The Silent Man for Karen. How did he know I would have that CD in my car??

Anyway, just wanted to let anyone know that the Ytsejam connection lives on, even AFTER people unsubscribe.

That's my unexciting(for others) story, and I'm sticking to it.

HI Sarbah!

And now you even post sometimes! Will wonders never cease??

<lick>

Oh, I forgot to tell Cloak that Jon says "Hi".
