If you like them I would check out Bering Strait, a bunch of Russian
    kids....

Oh yeah, especially thier earlier stuff, lots of bango and harmonica.
They also have akiller bass player Victor Wooten.
    (ps it's "Bela")
I would also say a lot of Dixie Dregs could be considered
    ProgCountry.....

Just to clarify, Rob Van Der Loo didn't play in Star One. It was the
keyboard player for Sun Caged who did (Joost is somewhere in his name, and
it is a guy if you weren't sure about his gender).

By the way, now that 2003 is over, why don't you guys and girls mention
your personal top 10 releases of the year? This year was packed with great
cds, so it's going to be hard (at least for me) to come up with my list
(which I will do later after giving it some thought).

Alexis -- I spun this disc Wednesday night and listened to it over and over
on Thursday... James LaBrie is in top form on this release. It's a CD
that can easily be put on repeat mode. Thanks for staying on me about
    listening to it :)

Sorry, but when I wrote the review I forgot that the album was called
    "Unweaving the Rainbow", not
Frameshift. And Jan-Michael, what the hell are you waiting for??????? ;-)
Throw that baby in the cd player already.

Anyone hear the similarities to the current Rush?

Especially the chorus, he sounds like Geddy.

Right back at you, Partha! Nice to see you still around these parts.

    Have a great 2004!

Yeah, I know, it's "i" but the "e with an accent" came across the Internet as an "i". Go figure.

Anyway, Victor Wooten is an amazing bass player, and his brother FutureMan can surely do some cool stuff with that drumitar of his.
