Location : Hiroshima The industirla promotion hall was left standing after the bomb, it has stood as it was as a gri reminder of the deadly power of the atomic bomb. It has been declared as an international historical site. It is currently undergoing some rennovations to preserve it from the weather. You can seefrom the model , that the industirla promotion hall was one of the few buildings left standing after the bomb hit. |

A Bomb Dome Plaque
Location : Hiroshima Visiting the A Bomb Dome was very much like visiting ground zero in NYC. Fifty years later, people were still laying boquets of flowers, and ribbons. Little needs to be said about the famous sites of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The twisted and charred metal remains of the Industrial Promotion Hall (now dubbed the A-Bomb Dome) was well worth the visit. The reverant museum southwest of the Dome grabbed your mind by the throat and shook it violently as to the destructive capabilites of the Atomic Bomb. *shiver* |
