Every little town city and village in Thailand has a market. It is similar to our flea markets in America, however this is where they get their basic necessities. Instead of going to a grocery store you go to the Day Market if you want bananas you go to the banana vendor, maggots, the maggot vendor...

The Day Market of Nakon Pathom was overflowed with goods. Stores were double parked a glass front store sitting behind another vendor in the hallway. The market sprawled for blocks. At least 150 vendors were jammed into this little maze. Lively, Anxious, Crowded, Smelly, Full of interesting products, all at amazing prices (for an American).

The Floating Market of Damnoen Saduak is far and away the most interesting of all the markets we visited.

Hundreds of Vendors float by bringing in cargo, food, drinks, fruits, trinkets, stores line the sides of this Venice of Thailand.
