    Dudes!

Thanks for the responses (and my apologies for not making it clear to
send your addresses to my e-mail!--don't worry, though, I got everyone's
info). I've received at least 50 responses--I'm tapped out for CDs. I'm
going to see about getting a handful of videos so stay connected!

Finally, I'll try to post the names of all the lucky recipients of the CD
(thanks to Silverman for the suggestion).

    Take care,

    C-man

    Hello fellow DTer's,

I have a question: What happened to the Dream Theater video that
a couple of you guys said would be out today, November 16??? I just
called 2 record stores in my area (PA) and they didn't know anything
about it!! Is it out or not?? Is it called _Live in Tokeyo_ or what?

       Thanks,

Sorry it took so long guys but here goes the rest of the lyrics. Check 'Jam 236 for the first bit of lyrics. If you're new to the list and don't have that one, write me at mp67@andrew.cmu.edu and I'll be happy to send you it. Remeber, if any one can add to this, go right ahead, I claim not to be unfallible (or whatever). A lot of the lyrics are educated guesses.

That's it. I also did "Forever". I'll post that some other time, my hands are tired. The words in brackets are guesses, the ........'s mean I have no clue. Most likely sounds something like "Dadadadadada". The spaces between the numbers mean some kind of instrumental. Til next time-

Hello Kinga, I couldn't get your email address from my terminal so I'm sending you this through ytsejam. It's true that it doesn't seem to be many of us DT fans in SD (they don't know what they are missing). As for any boot CD's, I went down to El Cajon BLvd to a couble of stores their but they didn't have anything. However some other guy from this mailing list sent me the name of a guy that can get hold of a couble of them (he is in Texas). If you are interested sent me email (+your address) so we can discuss DT.

I hope that's the last of the promo crap.

For those who don't have the video yet, I JUST CAN'T RESTRAIN MYSELF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a DT orgasm! One complaint I do have - I think the actual camera work is VERY Rush 'Exit...Stage Left'ish. Lots of low shots from the pit and check out almost every shot of Mike - over his left shoulder like all of Peart's in ESL. ARRRRGGGGHHHH!!!

I like the fact that they worked the actual three song videos in with the rest of the tape - they didn't just stick them on the end as an afterthought. The vid for 'Another Day' just proves once and for all that MTV has its head up its ass.

I thought the footage from the making of I&W in the studio was great! When I typed in that Portnoy interview a while back, he said that the snare sound was sampled, but in the footage from the studio he's not playing on a pad, so I don't know what he was talking about.

One funny. When they're in Tokyo staring at the poster with the different condoms on it and they point to the one that looks like a cow's hide, they say, "That's Kevin's. He loves cows." Which is funny because that's exactly what he said to me in July when I saw them. I was wearing this shirt that has a drawing of a cow with all fours in the air ,rigor mortis style, with the caption, 'Really, I'm fine.' Kevin thought it was a hoot.

Also thought the Galactic Cowboys trying to get the 'Take the Time' lyrics down was funny.

    Rambled long enough,

    Mike

The problem is that people answer with Reply to the person who sent the original mail. It might seem like it will go directly to this person, but my mail system at least maps the name (which looks like an address) to the address of the Ytsejam list. So instead of replying to the previous mail with the Reply command, please send a totally new mail and retype the address of however you're 'replying' to. (Then it will not be sent to the entire list).

Hey, I sent lyrics to the list a few days ago, but I never saw them get on the list. If they didn't get on the list, it would be the second time it has happened. Please, someone, any one, let me know if they appeared before I waste my time posting them again. My address is mp67@andrew.cmu.edu -thanks. By the way, I tried at "Forever" also and got virtually the same 1st half of the song. My second half had a lot of differences, but I only used the Dance of Eternity version, and yours make more sense. Good job.

PS-who in the Hell cares how to spell "capiche"??!! Sorry- didn't mean to flame. Matt Pulver.
