I have a copy of Live at the Marquee for sale.

It's the German version and was purchased in Germany about a week ago.
It's still in the stiff plastic packing w/German recycling symbol etc.
A friend of mine overseas sent this to me as a surprise -- unfortunately
    I already own it!

$20 US includes first class US mail shipping.
Sales to the US and Canada only, sorry.

I don't post much to this list, I just like to lurk, but I also
think it is a bad idea to be giving out the addresses of family
    members so freely.

To whomever asked about eve and moon bubbles:

I have copies of both on video. I believe eve is the first encore on the
San Francisco (~may93) boot. The one with Galactic Cowboys singing harmony
on Take the Time. Also, some of the old boots around oct 92 will have
moon bubbles. The Houston show that I saw them play it was on 10/30/92
i think. It was kinda like bombay vindaloo, just improvisational soloing,
mainly on Petrucci's part. I almost shit my pants. He did alot of volume
swell type things, ala Ty Tabor solos on the Faith Hope Love tour, or EVH
on cathedral (is that the one?) It was simply amazing. IMHO, the SAN FRAN
video boot is the best one i have seen. I only have 2, one from long island
and the sf one. The LI one has Killing Hand, Matter of Time, Ytse Jam, and
Fortune in Lies I believe. The San Fran has only Fortune and Stat from the
first album. But it does have To Live Forever, which has another killer
    Petrucci solo.
Anyone wanting to trade for these vids, please let me know. I bought
them for $20 each, (idiot) and would like to just trade for things in the
future. I have some rush cd boots also, and a bunch fo qryche and rush promo
cds. Oh, and a primus cd boot: "resident weirdos". The rush ones are :
"A right to passage (hemispheres tour)", and "Run from the fans (RTB tour)"

Ignore this if I'm not the only one who hasn't gotten the list in two days.

If I am the only one, why? What did I do? Whatever it is, I promise to be

    All guitar players:

Has anyone ever learned any of "only a matter of time?" Espicially the riff
near the end during the "A father's benediction as his hopeful son departs..."
part? This is a really cool riff. I haven't tried to learn it in a couple of
years, so maybe i will try again. If whoever posted the metropolis.tab to the
nevada site is on this list, thank you ALOT. That is some really intricate
stuff to pick out, and it seems pretty accurate. Any e-mail DT, Rush, Qryche,
or King's X tab will be GREATLY appreciated. I have learned many of the riffs
off the new dt album if anyone would like my version of them. (I definitely
don't guarantee the quality of any of it.) Also, if anyone has a .tab program
for easily generating text file tablature, i would greatly appreciate getting
    a copy of that also.

Some friends and I went to our first ever record show the other.
There is alot of cool stuff out there. I didn't know you could sell bootlegs
right out in the open like that.

I saw some cool DT boots. My friend got a copy of the 2 CD boot of
"The Dance of Eternity"! It cost him $40. I can't really understand why I didn't get a copy too. 1st of all, $40 is alot of money, plus I had just got a copy
of Live at the Marquee and the live stuff sounded very similar to the studio
stuff, not alot of improv. I figured the live songs on DOE would sound about
the same. But I really wanted to get it because it had Forever and Change
of Seasons. There is another show on December 5th. I'll probably get a copy
then. I'll just get my friend to copy CoS and Forever to hold me over until
    then.

I was wonder how people can make bootleg CD's? Tapes I can understand, but
how do you get access to CD printing and recording machines. The actual
disks look just as cool if not cooler than any of there "legal" releases.

I'll definatly have to get me a copy! Sound quality wasn't as good as LatM, but it wasn't bad. You can't here the guitar very well though..

    See ya!

    Can't wait til Nov 16th!!

well, what's going on? i have not received any ytsejam mail for 2 days.
am i still on the list? is anyone reading this?
as long as i'm here i might as well tell you that i got WDADU, and LATM a couple
of weeks ago, and have listened to all 3 of my DT cd's everyday, at least once
a day. i think that it will be this way for a long time. everytime i listen to
the songs, i notice something different, from the last time i heard them. it may
be a drum beat, or guitar lick, or whatever, but i'm always surprised to hear
something new. anyone else experience this? no other band (except for maybe
some metallica) has captured my attention as much as DT.
by the way. the LATM i have is the japanese ver. with another day. it sounds
great (another day). i bought this ver. because i already had surrounded on
a compilation cd. another day sounds almost exactly like on I&W except that
the keboards have a different sound at the beginning (more like a piano, than a
synth), and the sax part is done by Kevin also on the synth. sounds pretty cool.
well, i hope i'm still on this mailing list, since i look forward to reading it
everymorning when i get to school.
