I thought this was the case because of the video also, but the
suicide theme just fits to prfectly with the song.

I mean think about it: Look another way, die another day. Better to save
the mystery (of death) then surrender... Live another day, climb a little
higher, find another reason to stay. "Face the candle to the wind"--in
other words snuff it out! Resist the need to pull them in and throw them
away...

The lyrics just fit too bloody well... I couldn't make my illness
argument from the video stand up at all under scrutiny.

For a moment I was floored by this statement, since I taped the Ball
and was sure no DT had been played. Then I realised you meant MTV
EUROPE's Headbangers Ball, that infinitely superior production that
actually knows what a Dream Theater -is-..... heh

Speaking of Dream Theater and video, this month's videotape from Rock
Video Monthly is a special edition, and contains a number of videos by
Pantera and.....two from Dream Theater Live in Tokyo. I was VERY
pleased that I opened the package; it came so quickly on the heels of
last month's tape that I was sure it was a duplicate mailing; don't
want to open those.......

Unrelated query; is MTV Europe's Headbangers Ball playing any videos
by the US band Mutha's Day Out? They're friends of mine and they're
on tour over there right now. Supposedly Chrysalis is pushing them a
bit in Europe.....supposedly. :)

Note that you can get this in about 8-10 days from ranjit@netcom.com for $49.90, postage -included-. I did and I am pleased with his quick turnaround time. (As for DoE itself, it doesn't sound quite as good as I thought it would from everyone's comments here, but it's a decent recording and excellent for most bootlegs.)

I though it was moore, with the tape slowed down so he could reach the notes

A few Fates Warning CDs came out last Tuesday. They were Perfect Symmetry, Awaken The Guardian, and I think there was one other. A few more will come out next month.

Hi All,

Could some kind soul please send me the words to Eve? If I wasn't so lazy I could probably sit down and do it myself, but I am lazy. :)

Also are there any DT fans out there from the University of Wisconsin at Madison. I will be coming there this summer to start graduate school and I was wondering what the music scene is like. Are there are good clubs or cd shops?

Regards, Jason

I just checked on cdc (they fixed teh Dream Theatre/Dream Theater thing when I mailed 'em :) and under Fates Warning, they have "Awaken the Guardian" and "No Exit" are those new or old, because they're listed under Metal Blade and the date is 4/94. Are they new albums, or just re-releases or what? Thanks :) Chris
