Exactly! As I stated several times now in two prior posts, the Awake + bonus
CD are not found on the internet catalog. They are found only in the
mailer catalog that you receive if you order something from them. Their
number is (305) 481-1724 if you'd like to test my knowledge, but I have
this CD set on order, along with DoE and LitS which also cannot be found on
the internet catalog. I suggest obtaining this hardcopy catalog because
CDEurope has a lot of material that is not found via the internet.
Thank you very much.

Obviously, I wasn't quite clear enough when I posted this stuff. So hopefully
this will help clear some of this mess up. This is the heading letter of
the hardcopy, newspaper-like catalog that CDEurope sent to me IN THE MAIL
because I ordered something (that I still haven't received, BTW).
Dear Customer,
Wow! Although we knew that the Internet represents a huge network
of computers with millions of users, we weren't quite prepared for the
enormous response when CDE "went on-line". We could welcome thousands of new
customers (Thanks!!) and received thousands of e-mail messages. All this tested
our resources to the hilt and we have to admit it showed here and there. It's
been bery difficult for our traditional mail-order customers to reach us by
phone. We've added more personnel and you should have no more trouble by the
time you read this. Thank you for your patience and understanding. BTW, our
"electronic" customers enjoy a clear advantage here. They receive a response
to their e-mail questions within 24 hours (** not true **) and they can
review the status of their orders at any time. So, get a computer and modem and
join the super information highway!
We also have been unable to publish the July issue of CD Magazine. Hopefully,
you were enjoying your vacation on a beach somewhere and didn't miss it too
much.
So this July-August magazine is extra thick. We lost count but there are more
than 4,000 new listings. AND AS A BONUS, WE LISTED ALL THE LIVE ROCK CD'S
(3,500+) CURRENTLY AVAILABLE - incl. some 450 new releases. The section
"Hot off the press" lists 200 latest of the latest! That should keep you busy
for a while, ESPECIALLY OUR ON-LINE CUSTOMERS WHO DO NOT HAVE ACCESS TO THESE
TITLES. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE LIVE ROCK CD'S CANNOT BE ORDERED ON-LINE. Please
place your orders via phone or mail. Thank you!
We hope to hear from you soon. Thank you for your business.

I will provide catalog numbers when I have more time to post. I want to include
all the DT stuff, but there's quite a few. Their prices on 1CD boots suck,
around 27.95, but their prices on 2CD sets have been pretty reasonable around
42.95 (LitS and DoE) - which is the cheapest I've seen for these. I'm glad
to answer any questions I can regarding the catalog. Oh, the catalog is sent
to you free if you order $25 worth in that quarter. A year's subscription is
is $17.50. Add $7.00 for first class sub. The Live Rock catalog is $5.00.
There's most of it.

Hi, I have just returned from a trip (I also went to the concert of
Rick Wakeman in Japan :), and am writing this in a hurry.
AWAKE Japanese version will be released on Oct.10th with a BONUS CD
SINGLE! I still don't know details, but I will make a phone call to
Eastwest Japan again. So, plese keep waiting till next posting of me!
Well, I live in Japan, you know.... Can I do anything for you? AWAKE
Japanese version is a LIMITED EDITION! Only first press will be with
bonus CD. AWAKE is $25 in Japan, and if I will send one to U.S.A, it
costs 4 or 5 dollers for postage.
I listened to Lie on the radio.. It broke down my fixed image for DT...

Could the bonus CD be LiT maybe? That'd be cool... Also where can I write
to do start recieve CDEurope's catalog? And what was the difference of of

Like I've said before I don't believe this is the reason because Moore
wrote the lyrics for Lie... if he didn't want a heavy metal song, he
wouldn't have written the lyrics. I'm not really sure what Kev wants but
I'm sure we'll find out when he releases a new album... (heh maybe Hard
Core rap!) :)

I have a couple of questions:
1). Where can I get a copy of Jens Johnessen's CD (I can't find it in
Toledo, OH; this should not surprise anyone :) )? I checked Best Buy. Does
anyone know if Harmony House carries this sort of thing?
2). What time does the 'jam get sent out on Digest? Granted I am on the AOL
gateway which causes a little delay, but I used to get the message by
12:01AM. Now it comes mid-day the next day. Any info? Thanks!!!!!

Rush Video Montage! Current Order Status - 25 August 1994 . . . . . . .
This will become a regular posting to Ytsejam for as long as the Rush Video Montage is available, to give you instant feedback on whose orders I am getting and what their current location is. I will post it once a week, twice if I have time, to let you all know how things currently stand.
I did the last MAIL stop three days ago, so by the time most of you read this, if your name is in the mailed list, you should HAVE your tape. Anyone who dosen't have it that is on the mailed list, contact me right away! (well, unless you're almost at the bottom, as those DID just get mailed, you might want to wait a few days.)
The 'taped' list is tapes I have recorded completely, each time I get a chance off from work or class, I drop by the post office to mail all of those. This is a minimum twice a week, so you know that your tape will go no longer than 3 days waiting to be mailed. These are ready to go, and will go out as soon as possible!
The 'current queue' means I cashed your check, bought your tape, and it's in the pile I currently have to record. Yes, I use your own money to buy the material. I run a profit margin of about a quarter on these things, since it's mostly a favor for the Ytsejam list in the first place, so please don't get on me about money (some folks have!) it's not like I'm buying limos. I buy YOUR tapes with the money you sent, and your stamp, etc. Thus, if your check clears, it's in my current queue or else it's done. I do not let the current queue grow to more than 8 tapes. At that point I stop buying tapes and wait until I get a few orders out. This is so that you don't have to wait a loooooooong time between the payment and the product.
The 'new orders' list comes in here. I have your order, but a huge backlog already, so I haven't cashed your check yet. I'll get to these as soon as the current queue drops. I will usually clear out a full queue and then add 6-7 new orders, buying your tapes all at once.
To those of you who have waited to order: THANK YOU!! The order queue is gradually, gradually shrinking. The longer you wait, the less the delay before you get your tape. I am closing in on a one-week turnaround time, and I hope to make it to 72 hours or less as activity from the list becomes more or less regular and mostly the new folks order it (as the veterans will all have it!)
I'd like to apologize to you all once again for how long it's taking me to get through all of these, I had no idea how many of you would want them, but they are getting done as fast as they can be. Please bear with me and be patient, I will try and minimize the wait as much as I can!
MAILED! You should have your tapes. (at my rate of copying of 9-10 tapes a week, you can see where the delay shows up... especially since I get 15-20 ORDERS a week!)

Just because Kevin wrote lyrics for Lie doesn't mean that the musical style of Lie (or the rest of the album) meets with his approval. It's also possible that the band wants the next album to head away from the keyboard textured style which would leave Kevin with little to do except write lyrics.

If DT did tend to pull to a musical style that consisted of less keyboards...I'd probably be a little more into whatever Kev does than a Thrash type of DT...The keyboards have always been probably the most important aspect of thier music, and to totally lose them (for the most part), just wouldn't be DT.
