This would be cool----I have the group's Space in Your Face tape. They strike
me as being a harder version of King's X(no surprise---they have the same
producer). While on the subject of King's X, is there some kind of mailing list
 for them?

2) is there anyway to hear .AU files on a PC??

I've gotten a great response for this, I think I'll try and start
a list, for what it's worth. I will have to drop my current net account
and move over to a machine where my friend is the sysadmin, I think my
new address will be marabout@genesis.mc.maricopa.edu.... I will see what
I can do about running the list. My question now becomes, how is Ytsejam
doing it? Is it Ken that's running it now? Whoever you are behind the
gears, can you drop me a note? I'm starting blind, I think... :)

What would you all say were your GC highlights? I would have to
lean with Kill Floor and Speak To Me on the first album (gotta love Speak
To Me, clocking in at 11:13 on the ole' CD player!) and on the second
album, I like a LOT of it very much, but Still Life of Peace is the most
"quintessential" song to me... it represents the very best of all the
styles they have as-yet explored. The chordal vocal harmony, the guitar
7th and 11th melodies, the thwap-bam thwap-bam sound of Monty's bass, and
an ordinary performance by the so-far-ordinary Alan on drums.

Well....about this Gactic Cowboys thing or mailing list or whatever...

feel free to discuss it...but please dont flood the mailboxes of the
other ytsejam readers who are not interested in GC anyway!
(I heard their Space...thing and must say that i can absolutely not
understand why people compare them with DT...maybe nice music for some
guys anyway, but how can one dare to compare to DT...never....!)

Welcome to those who are returning from a summer break. There have
been a few changes that you need to know about.

bnf.com is no longer the host of this mailing list. Don't send mail
to there--there is no guarantee that your mail will ever reach us here.
If you want to unsubscribe, go into digest mode, subscribe, whatever--PLEASE
send your requests to arastar.com and not bnf.com

Thanks!

I know this is a little off the topic of DT, but obviously some of you out there know how to create new mailing lists using listserv. can anyone MAIL me (not write back to the list) about how to do this?

thanks!

Perhaps we should have a FAQ or a reference posting for those who are in need of unsubscribing, etc...
