Isn't it blonde on the Live at Tokyo video and on the new album pictures? Or
it might be considered really light brown. I just think that when it was
dark brown like on the IAW picture. I know he had to have dyed it or put sun
    in in it or something.

Go look at the cover of Lords of Sound...it's definetly Blonde!

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
According to the circle of fifths, and the pattern of sharps and flats:
If the alphabet continued as notes progressed (Using Major Key Sig's) (i.e
    A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, etc.) eventually the key of Z Major
    would have 4 sharps.

For those of you who I didn't email or who didn't know, I have
been giving updates on the status of the RISING POWER CD order
for the past few weeks...Well The time has come. The RISING
POWER CD's should be coming in stock within 2 weeks. In the
initial shipment, I've got about 5 or 10 extra so if anyone would
like one of these cd's, the price has come out to be

    ***** $22 + $1 for shipping to your doorstep
***** via US SnailMail. If interested email
***** me for my address. I can accept money
***** orders and checks (sorry no
    ***** COD's).

Here is some info on the CD:

    1984-85
RISING POWER: POWER FOR THE PEOPLE , 11 Songs , clocks in at just
under 40 minutes! Features complete lyrics, cool bio info, and
plenty of pictures of the band and the YOUNG Mike Portnoy!!!
The CD front is a red color with the Rising Power Symbol and the songs, etc
written on it. The Back of the back cover (which you see underneith
the cd) is Portnoy's mugshot from when he got arrested! Its hilarious!
All in all this CD is VERY Professional and the sound is top rate. I think
it came directly from the master tapes.

So if interested in buying one of these (i dont know if i'll be able to
get more after this), please email me , or also if you have any further
    questions!!! Thanks...

The new issue of RIP has some detail on the Malmsteen/DT rift at the
Foundations Forum, although I didn't take the time to read it myself, so I
can't provide any details. Just telling those who are interested.

you must have been reading that "audio" magazine guy's review. i assure
you there is not a rolloff. len moskowitz informed me that the guy only
tested the mic input freq response under one load. i did a sweep of the
mic input using my core sounds when i was up at school (we had checked out
scopes and freq counters for our design project anyway) and i read -0.5dB
at 20Hz, and -.23dB at 50Hz. this seems pretty good to me :)

if i ever sway DAT clones with you, you can hear Myung's bass pretty damn
good. and that low B is around 23Hz, right?
