I got this in the mail recently, after sending in a questionaire that
came with the CD. Pretty cool, eh?

It's a CD. I used to have 2, but I already gave one away. (and that was a long
time ago..) If you want a copy of it, I could copy it or something.

I like Damn The Machine too. I saw them with Voivod here in Miami, but some
jerks who had gotten kicked out for throwing stuff at the opener (The Big F)
came back with big guns, and the cops made the band quit after 2 and a half
songs. At least Voivod got on later. God I love this city. The ONLY rock
concert I've ever seen around here. The Ft. Lauderdale area has lots of cool
rock clubs though, including the Plus 5 where I first saw DT. The stage was
only a foot or two off the floor and there were less than 30 people in the
crowd. I was right up to the stage and wasn't even getting shoved! Now that
    was an experience. . .
Anyway, for those who might be interested, DTM is a semi-prog metal band led
by former Megadeth (and Circle Jerks, I think) guitarist Chris Poland, who is
VERY good. He plays a lot of interesting things, sort of fusion influenced.
I highly recommend his solo album Return To Metalopolis if you can find it,
it's a bit more on the prog side than DTM but it's also more thrashy. I
think if DTM got just a little bit more prog, with some more complex and
lengthy tunes, I could really get into them. As it stands, they're basically
a well-above-average metal band with some interesting tunes and excellent
    chops.

Gotta go recuperate from that Bruins debacle. . .

I don't know who it was that mentioned getting the DTM "Silence" promo, but
I was wondering how much you paid for it. A friend of mine signed up awhile
back to win Chris Poland's guitar back when his solo album was out, and got
put on DTM's mailing list. Ever since then, he's gotten free stuff like that
promo from them. He didn't have a CD player, so he gave the promo to me.
Meanwhile, I've been trying to get another promo for a friencd of mine, and
I wondered how much yours cost.

BTW - "I'd Love to Change the World" is a REALLY cool remake...
