I have a new quote to propose. How about:

'If there's a constant fear, a wasted year
     Man must learn to cope.
If his obsession's real, supression that he feels
     Must turn to hope.'

I realize this is quite a bit longer than the other quotes brought up, but it
is definately my favourite DT quote. Either that or:

'Through nature's inflexible grace, I'm learning to live.'

You can almost hear Myung's bass come in, can't you? If not, the surrounded
quote is the best one proposed yet.

Does anybody else wish they would play this song, the way it was done on High N Dry like they used too instead of the way on the current tour. I want it to be as rocking as it is supposed to be.

I just ftp'd those DT images to my terminal. They are awesome! (I was getting sick of my Rush images) Great resolution.

    Thanks Nathan!

Well the reason you thought the singer for Fates Warning would sound good in DT was because Fates Warning's newer stuff has a different singer than the one (John Arch) who tried out for DT. The new singers name is Ray Alder, and he is very good, I think he's been with the band for two or three albums now. I know since perfect symettry at least. +Michael

Hi, guys! So far, I've gotten a positive response from the .net people about my show, and I thank all of you! Also, several people have written and asked "will you play our stuff?" And, the answer is YES!!!! (no, not just the band:) I am DEFINITELY interested in ANY prog-metal (or just prog) bands out there! I'll warn you, though, that my show is small, I don't yet advertise it (I will start with the posters this weekend), and there's a definite limit on how many people can receive my show. (long story) BUT, if you'd like to send me something, I will be more than happy to play it. Our format is "anything that does not receive regular regional airplay". Please send whatever you'd like me to play, along with a description of your band, how to contact you, what all you have released (and where to buy it), and finally, some sort of promo for my show. It's called 'Forward Progress', and it's on KANM, "the alternative". Feel free to add whatever else on that tape, (interviews, you jamming, etc) but please no cussing. (That's the infamous "seven dirty words")

My address: Mike Bourgon P.O. Box 6678 College Station, TX 77844-6678

Feel free to pass this on; just remember that this is a Progressive Rock show. Thanks again! Rev (gosh, finally have to give my real name!) --- The Reverend "They called me the Reverend when I entered the church unstained" Fear the Information Revolution...for it has reached the hands of the strange. Is there any way to switch the list from this account to another account? Finally got my own account, and instead of cluttering up my friend's mbox, I'd like to have them sent to me, you know? :) ANyone with any info, lemme know :) (I forgot how to unsubscribe and resubscribe too, or I'd do it that way *blush* :) (BTW, you can contact me at whit8275@mary.cs.fredonia.edu if you like, that's MY address :) Chris
