I wear my NMS shirt proudly all the time, I am NOT a nerd in any sense of the
word, the only people who laugh at the email address on my clothing are, shall
we say. . .nerds? The average person either has no idea or thinks it's kind of
neat. Believe me, the nerd or not to nerd opinion people have of you has very
little to do with the words on your shirt. It's just those computer nerds who
think "computer nerd" when they see that stuff! Not that there's anything
wrong with being a computer nerd, just be proud of who you are and people will
    respect you. Trust me. :)

I have to say that I agree with Mr. Bertapele and Mr. Stackhouse. The
phrase "Balls and chunk," may at first seem a bit crude, or even ofensive
to some of the lesser fans of DT - the people who, if you will, are not
DT lovers. The first reaction would be to join more capricious DT fans,
and insist that "let light surround you," is a more apropriate quote, as
it would propitiate the hordes of ignorant pop music fans who don't
understand the full power of DT's music, and would be less likely
to offend the establishment. The fact remains, however, that this
reasoning merely promotes profligacy within the DT community, because
propitiating the masses is synonomous with "selling out." Logicaly,
then, the more devout DT fans, who know that DT by its very nature
couldn't sell out, would choose the quote that points out this fact:
"Balls and chunk is where it's at" So I say Mr. Stackhouse's idea is a
good one. Let there be two shirts. One for those who don't quite
understand DT, and the other - "Balls and chunk is where it's at" - for
    the more devote DT fans.

            "When Dream And Day Unite"

"Live At The Marquee" (Warner Bros. Release)

            "Images And Words"

            "Live From Japan" (Video)

The first album is a re-release of an album by a band containing three of the
current Dream Theater members. This band was called 'MAJESTY' which makes some
    sense of the name 'YTSEJAM'.

The "Wait for Sleep" mystery time Sig is (at least how I count it):

    08:10 3 bars of 5/8, 1 of 4/8, 3 of 6/8 and 1 of 4/8 (repeat 3 times)
                  3 bars of 5/8, 1 of 4/8, 4 of 6/8 (and into John P.'s solo).

08:40 Counting at the same rate, this would actually be in 6/8,
though you could count things in triplets and consider it 4/4.
This kind of makes it hard to go in and out of the
                  "WFS" mystery sig. though.

    08:53 3 bars of 5/8, 1 of 4/8, 3 of 6/8 and 1 of 4/8 (repeat 3 times)
                  3 bars of 5/8, 1 of 4/8, 4 of 6/8 (into Kevin's solo).

Wow, if there were ever adjectives I would use to describe Fish's lyrics
(from Marillion's first four albums) they would NOT be "folk-y and
love-song-y"! I think they're some of the most poetic lyrics I've heard.
I would put them ahead of DT and even Rush only because of the imagery
they provoke. (DT's lyrics really bother me sometimes, e.g., "Unbroken
spirit obscured and disquiet finds clearness this trial demands" -- kinda
reads like the Bill of Rights...)
