Darn. I was hoping for an August release. BTW, didn't they start
recording at the beginning of May. That would mean it took a little more
than the entire month of May to lay down the drums. Sheesh! I may be a lowly
bass guitar player, but that seems like an incredibly long time just to lay
down drums, especially knowing how good Mike is at it. If it really took
that long to get the drums down, I'd say that September 20th is a little
    bit optimistic. ;^)

I have their No Exit album. I like it. There is a really great mix in the heavy electric and clean classical guitar bits in it..

    Check it out.

Fates Warning's new album is due to come out later this year, but they have one from 92, _Parallels_. Lots of people say it sound like _Empire_ by Queensryche. It doesn't sound anything near _Perfect Symmeetry_ IMHO. If you want another FW album, I would recommend _No Exit_, with the same singer, but the music is thrashier. There is a one piece 22 minute which I think is the highlight of the album.

Hi! I'm a new subscriber. I was introduced to DT by a buddy who lent me I&W and WDDU. I don't care too much for the old singer's voice, but the new guy is great! I was wondering if anyone could point me towards some of their longer, more instrumental pieces. Total instrumentals would be great, but songs with big instrumental passages would also be okay.

Someone asked about a CD called Lost in the Sky. Is this a boot? If it is and you want it, try mailing to compactdisc@delphi.com. The guy is named John Young. He charges $25/disc + $3 shipping. It's kind of expensive, but he can send you a big online catalog on request. He's trustworthy and professional, although not terribly fast (maybe two weeks). Hell, I've pointed so many people towards him that I should get a friggin' cut o' the dough. *mock grumble*

Anyhow, could someone else shed some light on the guitarist (John?) and the bassist (something Myung). They're both Berkely-trained, right?

Hell, if I'm asking too many newbie questions, someone point me towards a FAQ or send me one. I would like to read it anyway.....

I just saw a new boot of the instrumentals DT did after Collins was no more. It's called Instru Mental . The sound is really good, and it also has the JP Guitar Spotlight stuff. It was 19.99, but you could probably find it cheaper. It's by the same company that put the Majesty demos on CD.
