The one post which had the album title, track listing, and release date
was pretty good, but then it was followed by a dozen posts with the
album name and release date ... If you look at it from that perspective...

    >Out of curiosity, why aren't you interested in hearing about other bands?

No time for interest. I suspect a large number of people on the net are
college kids with tons of time to shop, listen, hang out, post, whatever.
I'm an adult in the working world, trying to manage a career, home, side
career (musician), etc. etc. It eventually comes down to priorities, and
right now, the time I have to listen to music, I have to limit to about
4 artists ... DT being one of them. For me, I'd rather listen to a wide
span from a few artists as opposed to one or two tracks from several
dozen artists. I think I fear actually liking their stuff, then being
frustrated at not having the time or resources to get into them.

I've been a DT fan since I went to Berklee with them in the Majesty days.
Probably the main reason I'm so into them, I have a long history with
the bands music. I mean, King's X is an awesome band, but I know little
of their stuff, and, well, it's hard to start a new relationship with
    them at this time.

Any A&R person with either their label or distributors is just as good as
knowing someone in the band -- sometimes it's better, as those people have
the time to network with 'just anybody'.

    cheers
