I don't know how well this will qualify, but to avoid people
missing out on the CD updates, and so forth, I will send a CD update any
time anyone requests one directly to them via e-mail. I am Mike Bahr at
durnik@indirect.com as it says down below. That way, I can keep you all
up to date with the list down and such. Here's hoping this message comes
through on the Jam.
Again, if you want the most current Cd update, and I will update
it every week just like always, e-mail me and ask and it shall be yours.

There has been a change! I am having to borrow money to do all this stuff
and I have decided that in order for me not to end up being screwed that I
am going to require that everyone who wishes to get a DT-YtseCon II T-shirt
and sticker MUST PREPAY. See...if I go and buy 75 T-shirts and then only 50
people end up coming, I have to pay for those 25 shirts on my own and I have
no money as it is!!! So I must get the $$ by Tuesday DEC 19th. If you get
paid on the 15th and can't pay me till then, let me know and I'll give you
the benefit of the doubt. Otherwise to get a shirt and sticker you MUST
PREPAY! If you dont want a shirt its $10.
SO SEND $15 IMMEDIATELY and get a DT-YtseCon II Tshirt and sticker and all
the other stuff!!!!!
Also if you will be away from your email account, let me know a phone #
and address I can let you know I have received your money!
============OLD STUFF=============
The YtseCon II is at the Holiday Inn in Rockville Centre, NY (15 mins from
Malibu) at 4:00pm- approx 6:15. Dream Theater will be there from 4:30 to
5:30 (as of now). We will then go to the a fast food place close to Malibu
to all eat together and then head to the show! The -PREPAY- cost of $15
covers, the banquet hall rental, T-shirt, sticker, glass of water, meeting
the band, getting their autographs, and a DT surprise for those who get the
$$ to me before Saturday the 16th of Dec. PREPAYING MUST BE DONE BEFORE
TUESDAY DECEMBER 19th!!! In other words to get a DT T-shirt and sticker,
you must prepay before Dec 19th.
---EXTREMELY IMPORTANT READ BEFORE SENDING ANY MONEY----
Make sure you include your name, freinds name if mailing money for him and
an e-mail address!!! If a freind of yours w/out e-mail is sending me money,
make sure he puts your e-mail as the place for me to respond that I got the
money. If you send me money and don't hear any from me about it, let me
know! I need to know who's money I am getting!!!

Remeber after the Con we will all go and eat at Roy Rogers near Malibu then

Directions to the YtseCon II
To be held at the Holiday Inn, Rockville Centre, L.I., NY
>From Northern NJ:
Take the George Washington Bridge (I-95 North) into New York City. Once
over the bridge, follow signs for I-87 South, the Major Deegan Expwy.
The Deegan will take you past Yankee Stadium. Follow I-87 until it ends
at I-278. You have two choices: either the Bruckner Expwy, or the
Triborough Bridge. Take the Triborough Bridge to Queens/Long Island, NOT
to Manhattan. Keep reading below at Once Over the Triborough Bridge.
>From Northern NY:
Take I-87, the NY Thruway, into New York City. Pass Yankee Stadium.
Follow I-87 till it ends at I-278. You have two choices: either the
Bruckner Expwy, or the Triborough Bridge. Take the Triborough Bridge to
Queens/Long Island, NOT to Manhattan.
Once Over the Triborough Bridge:
You will be on the Grand Central Parkway heading East. This will take
you past LaGuardia Airport and Shea Stadium (home of the Mets. Yay!).

>From New England:
Take I-95 south into New York. After you enter New York City, keep your
eyes out for I-295 South, the Throgs Neck Bridge towards Queens/Long
Island. Once you cross the Throgs Neck, you are on I-295 South, the
Clearview Expressway. Take the Clearview to Exit 1, the Grand Central
Parkway. You want to go East on the GCP, towards LI.
Once On the GCP:
As you are heading into Nassau County, the road will change names and
become the Northern State Parkway. Take this road to either Exit 31 or
Exit 31A (I forget which one). The exit you want is for the Meadowbrook
Parkway South. Take the Meadowbrook to the exit for the Southern State
Parkway West (towards NYC again.) Keep reading below at Once On the SSP.
>From the South:
Take the Outerbridge Crossing (Rte. 440) from New Jersey into New York.
Once over the bridge, stay on Rte. 440, the West Shore Expwy. The WSE
ends at I-278, the Staten Island Expwy. Take the SIE towards the
Verrazano Narrows Bridge. Take the V Bridge into Brooklyn, and get onto
the Belt Parkway East, towards JFK Airport. You want to get off the Belt
at Exit 25A, the Southern State Parkway East. This is a Left-Lane Exit.
Once On the SSP:
Get off at Exit 19S, Peninsula Blvd., Rockville Centre. Follow Peninsula
Blvd. for about a mile and a half. You should notice that there are no
intersections, and you're passing a park and a pond. The first traffic
light is at Lakeview Ave. Make a Left onto Lakeview Ave. The second
traffic light on Lakeview Avenue is N. Village Ave. Make a Right onto N.
Village, at the schoolyard. Take N. Village past the A&P and past the
church. You will go under train tracks. The first major intersection
after the tracks is about 100 feet in front of you. This intersection is
Sunrise Highway, Rte. 27. Make a Right onto Sunrise, and stay in the
right lane. The Holiday Inn is on the first corner you come to. Make a
Right into the parking lot. The entrance to the parking lot is on the
block you are on, before the next intersection.

I have an extra ticket for the show (New London CT). This ticket was
purchased at the new special door price of $15. If someone is interested in
it, let me know (Bahr, Warren ??). This ticket does not state an age
restriction, but the show is 18+.
