Second Show at the El-N-Gee !!!!
The El-N-Gee club in New London, CT has booked another show with Dream Theater
on Saturday, December 30th !!
This show's particulars are as follows:
Tickets are $12.00, available at Strawberry's (locally) or through the club,
itself. Doors open at 8:00. And, for the youth in the audience, the good
news is that the show will be booked as 16+ !!!!
If you would like to verify this or get more information, call the club
directly at 860-437-3800. I was able to order tickets twice to the 12/27 show
by sending along a SASE and money order, so I would assume that the same
policy would apply for this show also.

I was just listening to my (now defunct) band's 12-single tape we're gonna get mass produced (someday soon!!). QUESTION: Does anyone out there wanna tape swap their band's stuff? I'm thinkingeach person creates a dub and let the tapes pass each other in the mail. E-mail me privately if interested. I think it'd be cool to get some insight to what other Jammer's create.
Steve
p.s.--I know some people's bands are advanced to the selling of the tapes. I don't want to buy, just get a sampling, really. We don't plan on selling our tapes since there's no band to support them, just give 'em to friends for fun. LATER-

Well, hello Jammers!
I've been on the list for a couple of weeks, and my posts have a habit of not posted. If this gets posted, then I'm lucky, and you're unlucky. Maybe not. I just wanted to say that Dream Theater rules, and that this is a really cool list, and it's okay to have a bit of NDTC, because, after all, there are other things in life than DT. But, sometimes it does tend to be a bit too much! So those that clog up my account on weekend with their bullshit, please, think before you write something! Well, I'll be stopping now, in case some of you think this is bullshit. Just one other thing: the guy who said (sorry, I don't remeber the name) ACoS is many pieces sewn together, is I think very much wrong! It is very coherent, it is ONE, not seven! It's _A_ Change of Seasons!

Hey Jammers,
(BafanguloVai???) :-)
I just read in the Queensryche newsgroup that DT might re-record WDADU. Now honestly, I doubt this, BUT my mouth does begin to water when considering the possibilites (in regards to production, vocals). But I wouldnt be so sure how Derek would hold up since the album is very keyboard heavy (which I like BTW!!!) Only a Matter of Time RULEZ!!!! hehe Sure would be amazing if this is true! Anyone know any truth to this or it just a reflection of my warped mind?????

Hey Jammers,
I am one of those lucky enough to be attending the YtseCon in a couple of weeks. Since DT is supposed to be there, I was wondering what I should have autographed. Any advice on how to enhance my collection from the collectors out there would be appreciated.
If autographed CDs are best, I have the Subconscious and Acoustic Dreams CDs as well as the regular releases, singles, and Mind Control.
Any suggestions are welcome. You can e-mail me privately or reply via the Jam.

Yesterday I tried to make out the temporal layout of the seven parts of ACoS. I'm not sure if it's right, so take a hearing at it and correct me, if you thing there's something wrong. Important note: I don't have an ACoS CD, so I timed the tape, so the timings aren't probably very accurate and should be multiplied by something like 1.0x or 0.99x. Anyway, you should be able to recognize what breaks I think separate the subparts. Here it is: 0:00 The Crimson Sunrise 4:25 Innocence 6:55 Carpe Diem 8:45 The Darkest Of Winters 13:50 Another World 17:00 The Inevitable 20:17 The Crimson Sunrise
As to the discussed 'irrelevant-ness' of some of the parts... I think everything fits perfectly. ACoS isn't artificially stretched without artistic considerations, as is the case with, say, Pink Floyd's "Echoes" (23:00, as well). One more thing: can somebody send me the lyrics for ACoS, or at least direct me to a FTP site? I can't find the around here.

Hi all, I must say I've enjoyed the past couple of months as a lurker here on the ytsejam. There have been very many --lets say interesting threads going around, but I'll admit its been fun to read through. Well on to my reasons for posting...
I am a DT fan (obviously, since I'm on this list) and I'm planning on going to the NY and NJ shows the end of the month. (I would go to the third but I haven't found a place to crash yet, and I guess that being a poor recent college grad I don't know exactly how expenses are going to be stretched for the shows I am going to.) Anyway I just wanted to know if anyone does know, whether tickets will be a vailable at the door for these shows. I'd personally rather not have to go through ticket master bs to get them.
One other question -- I think I remember that (Trey Allen ?) whoever is organizing the Ytsecon was asking if people who wanted to come to let him know and send him $15. Anyway I accidently deleted that digest and would like to know the details.
If you would please respond to me personally, since the list does not need to keep being bambarded with this stuff. Actually I am kinda worried that I haven't gotten a digest in a couple of days, but I guess a lot of us are still in school and have finals. Anyway thanks in advance. I hope to meet some of you at the shows.

Send: 1. an email telling me that you sent a tape just in case I hafta contact you 2. A 90 minute tape. Subcon is about 73 minutes long. 3. $2 and your address. I was asking for $3 but that's too much. It only costs me $2.
Just wanted to make it more clear. I've only had a few dubs, BTW.
