I'd highly recommend both Superior and Shadow Gallery to
anyone who likes Rush, DT and Fates Warning. I especially love
Superior and it has continued to grow on me. I've grown a bit tired
of Shadow Gallery, though I still consider "Carved in Stone" a
good album. Both bands have a good, heavy sound and a progressive
    style.
I'd also highly recommend Marillion, but be warned that they
have a very different style than DT or Rush. They don't have a very
heavy sound (not metal). Instead they build power from their overall
sound and wonderful vocals. I'd recommend first trying either
"Misplaced Childhood" or "Clutching at Straws". Both are among my
favorite albums. It may take a while to get used to their style
but it's worth it. Try those albums first since some of their other,
newer ones are more mellow and may not appeal to you as much.
            Enjoy!

P.S. Superior has one album and Shadow Gallery has two:

    Superior -- "Behind"

Shadow Gallery -- "Carved in Stone"
    Shadow Gallery -- self-titled
