WARNING! There is a new threat to humanity wandering this planet. They
are a new species of mutated turtles that attack and kill indiscriminately.
They're dancing turtles! Send this letter out to as many people as you
    can.

If you encounter a turtle, DO NOT touch or even look at it! In fact, you
should cover your eyes and ears and run away right away. These beasts
will attach themselves to your most sensitive body parts, and begin

Mutant Ninja Turtle toys in your place of residence... get rid of them
now! These are the most brutal form of dancing turtles, since not only
can they get down and boogie, but they also know karate!

Just so none of the less-informed jammers start panicking, *all* the
warnings listed in this message are hoaxes.

For more information on these and all the other hoaxes you get sent
messages about (including the ubiquitous "Good Times"), go to

I realize I'm going *WAY* off topic, without any DTC here, but I think
there's too much virus misinformation around to just let this go.

--You CANNOT get a virus by reading an e-mail message. Ever. Period.--

An e-mail message is text. Text is not executed. Yes, there can be
attachments and other such stuff with the message that could conceivably
infect your machine. If your mail program runs these without checking with
you first, turn that feature off. If you can't turn that feature off, get a
    new mail program.

change the subject to "subscribe guitar". Sorry

I just heard Burning My Soul on the radio!!! Rock 101 WGIR played it.
Too bad I didn't turn to the station until the final third of the song,
but I was singing along like a ytsejammer inspired. It's cool enough to
hear DT on the radio, but NEW DT---- chills man. Anyways, I've been
e-mailing them and WAAF so I guess that it's helping.

    As for the song:

I have an old 1983 Monte Carlo, so the radio doesn't have a nice, thick
sound, but James' voice has a different tone than on the bootleg
versions. Derek's solo is still on it and sounds very intense. They
segued the song perfectly into some other band, so for a second, I
thought I was going to hear Hell's Kitchen. Oh yeah, they didn't seem
to mind bleeping the "I don't give a shit" part and that surprised me
because they're the type of station to do that.

Well I guess all of this e-mailing is paying off. Keep it up guys!

Oh well, I'll be throwing a tape in my stereo and waiting by the dial
    tonight!

This isn't possible... an e-mail cannot carry a virus except as an
attachment... so for the virus to propagate you'd have to actually open the
attachment (then again, according to Rogerio Brito maybe the mail program
will do something automatically.) But anyway, an e-mail can't be a virus in
    itself.

    > This virus will attach itself to your computer components and render them
    useless.

I've also received messages like this which claim that the virus will make
the processor run through an endless loop and burn it out or something...
    this is also impossible.

If you send the "virus warning" message to everybody you know, you're
basically spreading useless information about, and _that's_ the virus.

That's what I understand of the matter, anyway... If I'm wrong, feel free
    to correct me, anybody....

Sorry to disappoint you dude, but Fates are not the first band ever to do this, in recent memory Marillion performed the whole of the 'Brave' album 72 odd minutes, during the 'Brave' tour, they did film the last gig of the tour, but that was only for Mexico PPV TV, which subsiquently was bootlegged many times. But they did make a movie based on the 'Brave' album.
