    Subject: Hi all.
    Message-ID: <34C07C23.4C@goodnet.com>

New update on the web page later tonight, around about midnight (the
last possible second, naturally) for those interested. Material
contained within includes final tracklistings for Tori and Queensryche
material, as well as lots of stars for Precious Things CD buyers
    specifically.

I took Melissa to see "Good Will Hunting" earlier tonight, and what an
amazingly intense movie that was. Hands down the best movie of 1998...
so far. :) Robin Williams is perfect, an old pro at these roles it
seems, and Ben Affleck of Mallrats and Chasing Amy fame steals the show
as the loyal friend who shows main character Matt Damon the big picture
and why he has to find his way in life. This movie, moreso even than
Chasing Amy, pumps me up for this summer's "Dogma", the 4th Kevin Smith
movie with Damon and Affleck starring alongside Chris Rock.

Did anyone else miss out on digest 3462? How do I access the archives?

Also, does anyone know where I can get a really good multi-track mixing program? I want something I can use to record the 'line in' on my sound card, and overlay it multiple times, so I can play about 4 different parts on guitar and mix them perfectly, adding in keyboard and synthesized drums.

Hi everybody, haven't seen it mentioned, so I will: The Hollow Years video was aired on the latest 'Metalla' show (on the German VIVA channel). It looks like most music videos look these days, so there might be a chance that some stations might actually show it more frequently. You don't see that much of the band, though (don't know if that's a good or a bad thing ;-) ).

Hello Jammers! This is my first message as I've only been subscribed for a few days, but I'm getting the hang of it. Anyway, I've read the detailed FAQ on DT but I can't seem to find out what James shouts between the first and second songs on The Big Medley. It starts with "Lights!" and then it's difficult to hear. Can anyone help me out? Or did I miss it on the FAQ? Also, to the guy who said LTL is the best DT song ever, I wish I had your ability to pick a favourite. To me they're all amazing. Chris

Actually, they trimmed the extended instrumental outro on LTL. LTL is still my favourite song of all time as it is on I&W, but with the extended outtro, it comes as close to a PERFECT composition as I think you can get! Every time I hear that version, I have this urge to scream out "HOLY FUCKING SHIT!". :)

But I think Shirley screwed up majorly. Instead of trimming the fat, he trimmed the phat! :)

I am a Mormon, and we believe that Jesus Christ was born on April 6.(What time on April 6, I have no idea.) It was for that reason, and the date of his death and resurrection being around the same time, that we believe God revealed to Joseph Smith that the church should be organized on April 6, 1830.

However, there is significance to December 25. That is the day that the wise men came to visit the Christ child. That is why we celebrate his birth on December 25.

    Just so you know. :-)

BTW-I was born on May 30-Memorial day!(Appropriate for the son of a naval officer, and the grandson of both an army officer and a naval officer! :-) )

    Hi there fellow proggers!

Since I posted last about my for-sale CD list I got some pleads if it would be possible to add some sound samples to the lesser known items. Well, it's done - I've established MP3 sound samples for about 50% of the CDs I offer.

So everybody who is into progressive rock/metal may want to have another look at my list of CDs that are for sale/swap. It's a large part of my private CD collection and contains CDs from seventies Art Rock, eighties and nineties progressive rock, progressive metal and more. If you are interested in swapping/buying CDs, just send me your lists. Here is where you can find mine:

You can listen to some short audio clips of APSoG on my web site, go right to http://www.goodnet.com/~mkizer/fw/a_apsog.htm It is tough to judge this song (all 55 minutes) based on a few short samples, but these should give you an idea of what type of music you can expect. Also, this album definately needs a little bit of time to sink in, I have found that after several listens the pieces all fall together and from there it just gets better and better to listen to.
