I just went to Borders and picked up the only copy of
OiaL that they had. I asked them about 5 years in a
livetime, but they didn't have it :-(
Oh well.
I am listening to OiaL right now, and let me tell you,
the recording quality is incredible! After listening to
audience recorded boots (and some very good ones at
that) to get the live DT experience whenever I want it,
this INCREDIBLE live recording is a real treat!!!!!
Thanks Mike!

woodblock part on "The Trees" by Rush. Has anyone else noticed this???

To the kick ass (of course) ytsejammers:
Well, I'm in Pacific time and I don't get mine until like 5:00(!)
But I do have some comments other than that. I really wish there was
more from WDADU on it, as The Ones Who Help To Set The Sun, etc. are
like some of my very favorite DT.
So I'll have to get When Dream And TOday Unite. Can any1 tell me where I
can get it the cheapest? I saw it somewhere on the jam for like $40.
And also on the Top 20, it looks like it'll be OIALT and WDADU.
Anyway, I don't LIKE it when bands change their setlist around.
Because I can only see _1_ show, I want to see what everybody else
sees. And if they're always changing it around, I am missing out. And I
don't like that feeling. Whine whine :)
If and when Aurora Borealis gets touring, we will not change things
around very much because most fans can not follow bands around.
I want them to see "the show", not "the show the way we did it today,
which is completely different from the way we're doing it tomorrow. And
tomorrow's will be way better and your fave song will only be done
then..."
I'm glad Queensryche and DT didn't change it around a lot.
I was only able to see each band once.

To Mike Portnoy: if you want to have some authentication of your
posts to the 'jam (or any person, for that matter), you should probably
use a thing called cryptography, or one of it's variations (digital
signatures). There are many programs out there whose purpose is to provide
authentication of messages.
You can read more about this on <www.crypto.com>.
Using digital signatures, you can be sure that your messages won't
be forged anymore.

Hello, Firstly, what the hell is ebay? And as this is related somehow to the Lie single there's a store up the road from me that sells it for 5.49 (that's English Pounds, not Dollars..Having trouble re-configuring the University computers to type properly so I can't type the Pound symbol...). And my friend only payed 2 Pounds for the Promo version.... Is the actual Lie single really selling for $100?????

Hey, Sorry about the double-post, but I just realized something. Until today, I NEVER knew Awake was recorded in One on One studios in Hollywood. That explains part of why the album sounds so damn good. It's the Metallica black album studio :) I didn't realize that until I saw the video today of them in the same room that Lars kept fucking up in :)
