Well, actually "Theater" is German for "Theatre", and since Wagner was
from...where? Germany? Austria? Somewhere-around-there?...It would've been
"Theater". But then again, the German word for "Dream" is "Traum"...so I'd
s'pose it'd be either a "Dream Theatre" or a "Traum Theater".
Just thought you might like to know...yeah, right!
BTW...how's it going with MP3'in the new TON-songs??? can't wait to hear
them!
Take care now, bye-bye then

Hey jammers,
Just wondering if anyone knows whatever happened to Altura on Magna Carta?
I have their only CD I believe called Mercy. Are they still around? Some
of their tunes were great and they showed some promise, like Alternate Lines
and Alone.
Also, has anyone ever heard of Auditory Imagery? They're an indie band from
Avon, MA and I lost the only CD they had. If you ever see it, pick it up...
they're great!!! Along the same lines as DT, Altura, etc...

Okay... Korg.. You got your laugh... I guess I was whining.. but you
know what, I don't give a shit. The truth is, I'm a trust fund brat (right
now) that is semi-used to getting what I want. What I want is the old DT
font returned and some freakin' tour dates in the area! Is tha too much to
ask for?? As for the setlets.. .yeah, I guess I can see where that was
going.. I didn't ask for it, but now that it was mentioned.. I guess that
would be good too. Shit, throw in a free t-shirt from the band, the new CD
and bubbles the clown doing face painting and I'd be happy as a pig in shit!
(sobbing) I have to get out this apartment, the problem is that it is 102

Because they are dark and heavy. I went to the DC show and had to sit through 4 mediocre bands. (Actually, the last one wasn't bad. Need to work on the songwriting a little, but good potential...) I was a little disappointed that it was only an hour concert, but what an hour. :^)

As far as I know, this is an unmoderated list. DT
does come up and is the main focus, but other subjects
are allowed. However, if you want stictly DT content,
I'd recommend that you subscribe to The Mirror. It's
run by the lovely Lisa Marie (she has her shit
together) and they stick with talking exclusively
about DT or the individual band members. It's always
full of solid, quality discussions. I think you might
enjoy it. Anyway, go to UACM and click on the link
for mailing lists. There's info there to subscribe to
The Mirror.

<< revert back to the original font of the DT name. >>
We tried this once...I'd drop it now before you get flamed to death. I'm
still charred from the last time I brought it up (even MP said no).
<< Have a truly expanded tour of the USA. >>
I couldn't agree more. They need the presence to support all of their closet
fans who have to drive hours and hours just to catch one show.
<< Make sure that this tour includes dates in Tulsa and Oklahoma City. >>
Hell, why you're at it, go to Amarillo, Lubbock, Levelland, (Texas) and any
other town nearby so I can see them every time. ;o)

It happened to me. I didn't desensitize myself to it, I don't think. When I
watch a movie, I try to completely involve myself in it. I ignore all that
I've been unfortunate enough to hear about it, and try to get into its whole
presence; hype included. I want to enjoy a movie to its fullest extent, but
it just didn't scare me as much. I remember watching it the first time and
when the characters would scream, I'd feel a slight gut-wrenching feeling
due to a belief in their fear. Personally, I loved it, and was fully
prepared to enjoy the experience. But, that's how you should watch a movie,
anyway.

I believe they broke up shortly after a shout tour in support of
Mercy. According to some, they left the prog-rock genre and went in more
of a "live" (the band) sence - which would have been interesting to see.
Even so, the band is no more. I would have liked to see the progression
(pardon the pun) of the band.
