I do like the cd and love thrashing metal live, so I should have fun at
this show, if I don't die from it. I have never been to a PURE metal
show. Bands like slayer, Machine Head, etc take all those hip hop metal
acts with em. This one should be fun.
I am happy Oliva is #1 dude with the tage. I loved zak, but all hail the
mt king.

I'll let other people fill you in about their musicianship, but I will say
that the vocalist has the longest dreads I have ever seen! It's amaizing
he can stay upright.

ps: I know it's not typical Jam music content, but anyone going to see

Hi All,
I just got back from the TSO show in Kansas City. It was damn good. It was
strange not seeing all the usual performers there. I'll try to cover some
of the questions that I've seen come up on the about TSO lately. I may have
screwed up some of their names. It's late. I'm tired.
Who's in each group?
Obviously I only know who was in Kansas City. They are the west group. I
got everyone's name except one singer and one keyboard player. Here's the
list I have:
Damon Lascott - guitar stage left
George Cimtron? - guitar stage right
Gary Lindamon - main male vocalist
Johnny Lee Middleton - bass*
Peter Murphy - drums
Tony Perez? - vocals, guitar*
Paul Marsh - keyboard
Paul O'neil - just hanging out with the audience*
*Was at last year's show in Chicago
What stuff are they selling?
Black t-shirt with BLN cover $27
White t-shirt with bust of Beethoven $27
Black polo $50
Poster $8
Mug ?
Watch $50
Postcards ?
Are they showing the Christmas special again this year?
Yes. Fox Family channel, December 6th.
What did they play?
For the most part they did the exact same show they did last year. A
modified version of the story of the first disk. They also did some encore
tunes, this is them.
Whovillie Medley (Perfect Christmas/Grinch)
Mozart-Figaro
Christmas in the Air
A Last Illusion
Requiem (the fifth)
Find our way home
Sarajevo Christmas Eve 12/24
What was it like?
Of course I enjoyed the show immensely. Even if the vocalists were
different. The guy that did 'The Three Kings and I (What Really Happened)'
did an amazing job. You could tell it was the first performance though. I
counted three times that one of the guitarists came in a measure early. It
felt almost like a cover band performing. Luckily, the music and show were
so good it didn't matter. I would have loved to see all the original
performers, but it was a great show none the less.
enjoy,
tk

Hi all
some interesting entries for the poll so far, but please
send you entries to me personally, and not to the list
(Graham is excused, probably overdosed on lager and
curry again). Sending your entry to the list means
extra work for me. And please, only albums that came
out in the year 2000 (somebody has submitted "Scenes
]From A Memory).
stay safe and happy listening

Haven't had any booze since July, actually! I had a curry for dinner,
though, and it's given me the craps. :-(

Instead of writing to MTV about getting Headbangers Ball back on, why not just subscribe to MTVX, where its 24 hrs of old school and new heavy music without commercials? I think its only available on digital cable or a dish, but its worth it for that channel alone.
