Well, I think Brian can now expect to be the final person to receive the new
X-Mas CD, disclaimer or not! :)

NP: LAST year's X-Mas CD (I just got it last Tuedsay!)

Yep, and you'll be on the one that's headed for the sun! :)

Of course, I don't know why I'm so happy, since I also will be on the one
    that's headed towards the sun!

Why, it's because you'll get to spend your last moments hanging out with Tom
Arnold and Pauly Shore, of course.

Nah, cuz Rosie O'Donnell will be there and I, too, would eject myself into
the vacuum of space before setting foot within 150 miles of her.

Question: I signed up for the first time last year, my first issue was the Christmas one with the CD. I have only received 3 thus far, Up to summer '00. No. 18 Was there a fall issue? I thought it was put out 4 times a year? Should I expect this years CD as my fourth issue? Hummmm. Anyone I can call and check with on this?

I read last year(about the time Met:2 SFaM came out) that there was a 20-25 minute original Metropolis 2 in the bag. It was an interview with the band in some metal magazine talking about skipping that one and doing the whole concept CD that is out now.

Plus didn't one of the band members (Mike?) say when Met2 came out that there was more to the story that hasn't been revealed yet?

Here's hoping for a Metropolis Christmas. I still can't get enough of it(listened to it again today). Since the day it came out. It is definitely my most played (and favorite) CD EVER.(and it's only been out for little over a year) Just so many intricate layers, musicianship...man. Anyone else feel the same way?

They put out all the B-sides last year, they are doing the live DVD so that leaves what?...

    Issues people:

1st off-the three tenors. On the queensryche.com mb someone posted a link to a page of a 15 second video of the other night with all 3 guys on stage. Im a bum right now so find it yourself. :) The album is gonna be released under the name "trinity" Its gonna have some maiden tunes, some qr tunes, some priest tunes and a few new songs done by all 3 artists from what I gather (can't wait to hear dickinson singing Queen of the ryche <------wishful thinking but you never know.

2nd off-Xmas CD. Im still hopeful for WDADU with James, but highly unlikely.

3rd-the movie orgasmo. I cracked up when the geeky guy with the camera told everyone to smile and say "geddy lee", someone asked who he was and he replied "duh only the best bass player ever!" gotta love Trey Parker and Matt Stone. If youve never seen the movie, its funny. Its about a mormon who becomes a porn star.

4th-Dust for Life-Does anyone have this album from these guys? I saw a vid on the rock show, they sound pretty cool.

5th-Im tired and off to bed, gotta pick out my DVD PLAYER TOMM!!!!!!!!!!!

    Yeah baby yeah!

    Dear eGroups Member,

We have exciting news to share with you. We want you to be among the first to know that eGroups and Yahoo! Clubs will be merging. The new service will be called Yahoo! Groups. We expect the service to launch early in the new year.

WHAT'S HAPPENING WITH EGROUPS? Don't worry, all eGroups email and web addresses will continue to work, all data and event ownership will be maintained, and your entire group membership will carry over.

Everything you love about eGroups will still be around. Yahoo! Groups will continue to be a free service, and all the main features you use now will continue to be a part of the new Groups service. We'll begin to internationalize Yahoo! Groups after we've launched the service in the United States. In the interim, you will be able to use the international versions of eGroups.

WHAT'S NEW? Yahoo! Groups will have lots of new features and even better customization. Upon launch, you will be able to:

    * Chat with other group members using our improved Yahoo! Chat. * Add a splash of color to your group, or a main page photo, all without knowing HTML. * See when group members are online and communicate with them in real time using Yahoo! Messenger. * Reach a larger audience. You will have the entire Yahoo! Network at your doorstep.

And much, much more to come!

The best part -- you won't have to do anything to convert your group. This will happen automatically. All you have to do to access the wide array of web functionality is merge your current eGroups account with a Yahoo! ID when the new service launches. You don't need to do anything now and there will be a very easy-to-use wizard to help you do this when the time comes. NOTE: email-only users will not need a Yahoo ID.

For a detailed FAQ on merger topics, please visit:

    http://help.yahoo.com/help/us/groups/info

On behalf of everyone here at Yahoo Groups, thanks for being a member of our service.

    Sincerely,

    The Yahoo! Groups team
