Hi jammers,

This if for CD-R experts.

I was copying some discs for a friend of mine and had some problems. This
friend brought me 10 discs: 5 Sony, 5 TDK (Certified Plus for Consumer -
made in the USA) plus another TDK (not certified - made in Taiwan). The
Sonys and the TDK from Taiwan burned perfectly. However, when I tried to
burn the american TDKs, I got the following message:

T0100: I/O Error (04/00/00) - Sense code 0x00
T7127: Track Write Error - Flush Failed

It's completely weird because on the same day I burned a TDK (Certified Plus
- made in USA - NOT for consumer), but with different packaging. I have an
ACER 6202A burner and use Easy CD Creator 3.5c.

Hm... That's a good point. Unfortunately it uses the file
modification date rather than the date of the mail message as you
suspected. I'd have to hack up Glimpse to look for the date inside of the
file. That would probably be non-trivial since the files are htmlized.
But, I guess it does already grab the title from inside of the file,
so it should be possible. Maybe if I get some extra time I'll take a
look at it.
BTW, in case you're curious I used Hypermail to convert
my Ytsejam mailboxes (in standard Unix format, RFC 822) to the HTML format
(each mail message is a separate HTML file now). I had to hack up the
Hypermail archiver program a bit so that it would put the files into
Year/Month categories rather than one massive directory. After that I
ran the Glimpse program to index keywords from the HTML files and used
WebGlimpse to set up the user interface.

Pull up the properties on your browser (Internet Explorer?) and they should
match those settings. Especially if you have a Firewall at work.. That
