Having no possibility of recommending any Enchant recordings (just because
of the fact that I am not too familiar with the band) I will, however,
wholeheartedly recommend Artension's "Forces of Nature" CD. Pick up this
one and I am sure you will not regret. I have their "Machine" (as far as I
know it is the follower of "Forces of Nature") and this one is not so good.
But again, try "Forces of Nature" - it is a little masterpiece.

Don't know, but EVERYONE here should do everything
possible to attend ProgPowerUSA. Yeah, PoS is one of
the big draws, but as of now, Nevermore, Reading Zero,
Zero Hour, and Evergrey are also scheduled, which
really qualifies as one of the best metal 'festivals'
this country has ever seen. And it'll be a small
crowd kind of affair, making it all the better. Glenn
Harveston - ProgPowerUSA organizer - is a GREAT guy
and is TOTALLY dedicated to shoving progmetal into the
face of everyone who says there's no market for it in
the US. PoS alone is worth the $50. Add in those
other bands (among others) and it's the deal of the
    century.

Pain of Salvation will be co-headlining the ProgPower 2001 Festival in
Chicago (sometime in February). Nevermore is headlining the first
(power-metal) day, and PoS is headlining the 2nd (prog-metal) day.

The lineup looks like it's gonna kick much ass, BTW.

Well I'll be there, as will Mr Borland, Ashley Wong - if he hasn't been
relocated to Sweden, Adrian Longley, American jammer Jaime Kimpton (who has
popped across the atlantic to enjoy the great weather we are enjoying this
fall) and no doubt a few others. Hammermith isn't the great place that it
used to be for rock pubs, having been invaded by the All-bar-One/Pitcher and
    Piano type of drinking establishment.

There's 'The Old Trout' which is inside the Broadway Shopping Centre close
to Tescos, Costa Coffee and one of the two exits from the Underground or a
little way down Talgarth Road (Going South from Hammersmith towards Fulham
and Putney), there's one of those fake Irish drinking holes called 'Finegans
    Wake' or somethjing similar.

    batch in this Jan.

I think I used to have the Ytsejam digests back until around
#100 up until #2000+ I think. I'd have to do some hunting to dig them up
if someone expresses interest. I also have a more recent set spanning
#3650 - #4930 plus some even more recent ones. I don't think the newer
ones are complete. They're all in the standard mailbox text format.
Let me know if you want me to find them.

I have the Wallingford show making the rounds now, direct from my DAT
Master. I'm still looking for a few of the '98 X-Mas shows, the '95 Lido
Beach X-Mas show and Met2K vids. E-Mail me to get on the list, it should be
shipping soon. Only 100 made, each with full color artwork and an 8-page
    booklet.

      Hey guys,

For those of you who are interested... I've just finished
uploading an exclusive Porcupine Tree demo (MP3) to:

        http://www.porcupinetree.com/

The song is called "London", and features Steven Wilson on
vocals, acoustic guitar and piano... It was recorded in
1997 during the "Stupid Dream" writing sessions...

If you are interested in Porcupine Tree, or enjoyed seeing
them as the opening act for Dream Theater in Europe, be
sure to check out the audio samples at:

        http://www.porcupinetree.com/audio.htm

      Enjoy. :-)

PS: The new Chroma Key album "You Go Now" should (finally)
be available in US stores as of November 14th... Of course,
you can also order it right now at http://www.chromakey.com/
(also check out the "Photos" page in the "Info" section for
      some new photos of Kevin)

    Yo,
    Trip to wherehouse music..

Found new Symphony X, but feared skipping on track 10, still i want it
REALLy bad the way you guys speak of it.

Found new COC album, cool hard rock band, on sale.

Can't decide, so I walked out with A Farewell to Kings by Rush.

I hated rush, but are slowly warming up to them. I got a proshot vid
from 94 and now can actually appreciate em, I know this is blashphemy to
yuo guys, I always looked at em as a radio 70's band. I do dig them a lot
now, and have the live album (diff stages, T4E and now this one)

Shame ill probably never see them live,

In a strange twist of events, a friend of mine found one solitary copy of SyX
    - V in a store near here. And there was no skipping whatsoever.
Makes me wonder if MetalBlade fixed the problems and shipped the fixed ones
    or something.
